This is the first GM automobile I've owned in decades. I chose DeHaven because they are close to where I live and work and so far they have been fantastic! Scheduled on line for oil change & battery replacement received appointment confirmation of oil change battery for my corvette. Not what a loyal GM customer expects Service dept has fallen and I will use other Chevy dealers currently use Cadillac service for my other vehicle and no issues with Cadillac dealer service More

Initially, the woman who took service call was very pleasant and helpful. That’s where my great experience ended. I was a first time customer and looking for a shop to service vehicle needs(first full pleasant and helpful. That’s where my great experience ended. I was a first time customer and looking for a shop to service vehicle needs(first full service). The day I had my service appointment, my truck was struck by a deer. I figured I would also have the DeHaven body shop do the work, since it was already there. They finished my service and confirmed what I had told them about my battery not holding a full charge, but was told they couldn’t change it because it didn’t test “bad”. This truck has 6850 miles on it. Everything should be in proper working condition. This battery does not allow me to use my trucks full capabilities. It has been an issue since purchase. After my service, it goes to the body shop. This is where my experience turned sour. After their initial inspection, they contact my insurance and had them out for the claim and were cut a check. After I received the initial quote, the only thing noted was the front drivers side door was damaged. I knew that the back door received damage as well and that was then added and later adjusted, and again paid, by insurance. I was contacted June 2, 2025, by Chris, the shop manger telling me my truck was ready. I was able to inspect the repairs. When I went inside to talk to Chris, he asked if I had ever been there before. When I told him no, he said someone with my last name that worked a GM was “difficult to work with”. And then asked if it was my dad. I said no, I work at GM. How much more rude could he be to a new customer? Anyways. The rear door still had substantial visible damage. While examining that, I noticed more damage that had been overlooked on the cab corner and front corner of the bed (which still doesn’t look good). I’m not sure why I’m the one pointing out damage to a body shop that has had my vehicle for at this point 1 1/2 weeks. Then the insurance had to come out for another additional adjustment. Then I get a revised quote with the new damages. That next week goes by and I don’t hear anything. I call June 9, I’m told they are waiting on parts. I call again on June 12 and talk to Austin, DeHaven GM. He says he will look into it. Calls me June 13 at 12:30pm and tells me it will be ready for pickup at 4-4:30pm that day. 4pm my wife and are heading to the dealership and get a text saying the truck would not be ready until Monday June 16. My truck was at your dealership for nearly 4 weeks. I am not satisfied with my service because it did not repair the damage they were paid to and it took far too long for simple body repair. More
The service department was good to work with, but finding out that I have to pay 3% after July 1 added to my bill because I elect to use a credit card.
