Salesman Paul Watson is the absolute best!!! About 4 years ago I purchased my first car from Paul Watson. Over the years I have received birthday wishes, and friendly check ups. A few months ago I was starting to think about upgrading to a newer vehicle. I immediately called up Paul Watson to see if he could get me into something new. I don't have the best credit and still had a good amount left on my current vehicle's loan. At that time we weren't able to do anything. Every few weeks Paul would check in with me and let me know he was still actively searching for a car that would work for me. About a week ago I got a call from Paul asking me if I was still interested in finding a vehicle. I said that I was and he asked me what kind of car I was looking for and immediately got to work. The very NEXT DAY, Paul called and told me he had a vehicle that he thought I would like and said I could come down and take it for a test drive. I have been in love with Nissans since the first one I had years ago and Paul had found me a gorgeous, reliable 2010 Nissan Altima. This car was AMAZING! It had all kinds of bells and whistles and I was sure I wouldn't be approved for financing but I told him to give it a shot. To my surprise a local credit union had approved my loan with no money down, NO MONEY DOWN! and my payment was about 20 bucks more than my last car, which was a steal. I was also able to trade in my older Hyundai towards my purchase which helped a lot. I signed all of the paperwork and drove off that day in my new Nissan Altima. Darling's is an amazing, friendly, and caring car dealership. I recommend them to everyone I know. I am definitely a lifetime customer at Darling's of Augusta. Thank you so much for the wonderful car!! P.S Steve in financing is a miracle worker and even dealt with my previous boyfriend who was still on my older car's title. Somehow he managed to get the signature and get me financed. This man is amazing! More

Helped us when nobody else would! Last Wednesday our 10+ year old SUV seized up while driving to work. It's never been the most reliable car, but it's gotten the job done. But it was Last Wednesday our 10+ year old SUV seized up while driving to work. It's never been the most reliable car, but it's gotten the job done. But it was definitely broken in a bad way and needed to be replaced, and we needed to get into a new vehicle as soon as possible. Because it was so unexpected, we didn't have any down payment saved up. We'd just moved the previous month, so our savings were totally depleted from moving into a new place and putting down a large deposit. So we started shopping, we wanted a vehicle that was reliable and fuel efficient, not too old and not too expensive. We went to a lot of dealerships... we even looked as far afield as Ellsworth! Nobody could help us. After a fruitless day at the car dealerships around town, we've realized we have enough credit to get financed, but not enough to get financed without a down payment. We probably could get the money together if we had an opportunity to save, but we were caught by surprise. Everybody turned us away. We asked family and friends for help. We even set up a go fund me to try to get together the down payment. Amazingly (inpsiringly - overwhelmingly) we got a message from a family friend to say she'd be able to lend us the cash the very next day. When we went back to Darling's they were able to help us get financing for our first choice vehicle! Teresa from internet sales got the ball rolling, she suggested the perfect car for us, when we might not have noticed it otherwise! Paul was the best, he worked so hard to think of ways to make things work out for us. He worked with me for hours over email, because that's more convenient for me at work. He was so responsive and helpful and was quick to reply to any questions I had, even when we thought we wouldn't be able to afford the car. Jim helped us get the financing, he went to bat for us when our credit wasn't stellar. We set it up to make our payments automatically from our checking, so it will help us build our credit for next time. Paul and Jim stayed late so we could get the paperwork signed after work hours. We got a great deal on a beautiful, safe, reliable, fuel efficient vehicle at Darling's, when every other dealership we talked to turned us away. Thank you so much! More
