I have never been more disrespected, belittled, embarrassed, frustrated, or angered by one human but Patrick from DCH Thousand Oaks really made all that happen, DO NOT, let me repeat, DO NOT talk embarrassed, frustrated, or angered by one human but Patrick from DCH Thousand Oaks really made all that happen, DO NOT, let me repeat, DO NOT talk to this man, walk away from anything this dealership has to offer. After discussing with his salesmen (who were very helpful and pleasant) a couple times about certain deals and promotions one came to correct me in a polite manner and show me the spread sheet witch turns out was still in my budget and willing to do, but before he could even finish talking to me, PATRICK, decide to burst outside and literally out of his mouth "do not give him a deal, get out of here, leave my lot!" I can not make this up, should I mention he had a crowd no moments before with a screaming match he was having with another customer. So DO NOT work with PATRICK the man with headphones in while talking to people, untucked wrinkled shirt, greasy hair, and the worst attitude. Sorry to the salesmen working I would be embarrassed to have a boss like that. More
DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE from this Dealership. The sales man spoke to me & my husband like we were idiots and how he had been a car sales rep for 2 years. There were things that were promised when we made t man spoke to me & my husband like we were idiots and how he had been a car sales rep for 2 years. There were things that were promised when we made the proposed deal even had us initial and sign but yet when it came to signing the actual contract. It was quite the opposite. I know we could have received a better deal. They are all about the MONEY AND THE SALE. The sales rep also had said that for a $33,000 car people always put down $6,000-$7,000 down!.. Yet again a sign that it is all about the money. We told them what we would put down (not what he was wanting) JUST STAY CLEAR AWAY FROM DCH SUBARU. Keep searching for other dealership with better service More

Walk in a minute ago I pre-qualified for a car loan, so I could check out a used Jeep they had. Made an appointment. Drove 3 hours to Thousand Oaks. Walk in said I had an appointment to see an orange 2014 Jeep. Sales guy says hold on, and goes back to talk to the used car manager. After 15 min. Comes back says it is in the garage waiting on a part. Doesn't let me see it in the garage or offer to show me any other cars. Little alone even get my name. I will have drove 6 hours by the time I get home and ran my credit to be treated like a homeless dude walking into the dealership. More
Amir Esmaili, top DCH Thousand Oaks Subaru salesman. We have never experienced such exuberant, good humored, respectful & patient clarification of cars features. Amir demonstrated in appropriate terrain, have never experienced such exuberant, good humored, respectful & patient clarification of cars features. Amir demonstrated in appropriate terrain, every feature this Subaru had, programmed everything for us, beveraged us all day in 111 degree heat, & invited us back with any questions anytime. We only hope the car is as good as he is! Joseph Cappello, finance manager, expedited the lengthy document process detailing every form. He was committed to completing many more sales after our late day for customers sure to be as appreciative as we were. A valued employee to be sure. Sam Tashchyan, warranty dept., was patient, & congenial, attending to our concerns. He & his boss, I apologize for not knowing his name, assisted in a final policy that best accommodated our pre-owned Subaru. Thank you both. More
So Sorry to See Ladin Go Made an appointment to have my Forester serviced. Asked for a loaner car and was told that this company no longer provides them for general service. Made an appointment to have my Forester serviced. Asked for a loaner car and was told that this company no longer provides them for general service. I've bought cars from Ladin for more than 15 years and it was top-notch in terms of customer service. DCH is a joke and I will never buy another car or take my vehicle in for servicing in the future. Absolutely horrible customer service! Went in to look for a car and an older gentleman came running out to ask us what we wanted. When we told him we were interested in a safe car for our teenage girls he ju a car and an older gentleman came running out to ask us what we wanted. When we told him we were interested in a safe car for our teenage girls he just went back in! It was almost like he came out to make sure we were not upto something! After being made to wait 20 mins we were asked to work with the same gentleman again. Before we could tell him what we were looking for he said and i quote “ looks like you guys are a few months away from buying and i am very busy at this time to show you around. Maybe you can make an appointment when you are ready and maybe i can help you then!” Really? If they were that busy, and mind you there were atleast 3 salesmen and no customers, they could’ve told us to make an appointment without making us wait for it. The sales guy made us feel like he had decided not to sell us anything from when he saw us! Very disappointed! More
From RATS to DISHONESTY!! This is a Mickey Mouse service. Let's start with "I wish I could give a minus 5 stars review" I have taken my car to this dealer a number of times with the same complain. I paid Let's start with "I wish I could give a minus 5 stars review" I have taken my car to this dealer a number of times with the same complain. I paid them to "fix/replace" one of the modules and they "fixed" nothing other than turning off the brake light on the dash board. Meanwhile, I had to deal with them returning my car eaten by rats. Disgusting!! Asbestos and rests of the back seat fillings all over the car. They denied knowing the incident, but I found out from one of their own workers that they new about it long before releasing my car for pick up. How often do they let their clients believe things like did not happen at the dealer? Once they had no other choice than to accept the damage, they called with "the car is ready. " Ready after two days?? Yes, we PATCHED, PATCHED the seat. Seriously!! After refusing to accept their Mickey Mouse repair and threatening with making a few calls, they finally agreed to replace the seat and clean the car. I soon learned that's all they do "Mickey Mouse repairs" You don't see it, you can't fight it!! After months of dealing with the same failure on the brake system due to the module that was supposedly repaired by them, they threatened me with returning the loaner or reporting the car as stolen. Way to go customer service OR should I say Service Manager?? Not to mention that I personally called three days on a row to find out the status of my car. Good luck! the technician still working on it. How can the technician be working on my car if my car is parked outside the service area?? My car had been parked at the front of the building, next to the loaners for days. Seriously!! Did they ever touched the car? My car continues to have the same problem on the braking system. While driving, the module sends a brake signal to my right, rear tire. The tire slows down making a brake noise and pulling the car back. It can happen at any time, street or fwy. However, they deny having the same experience. Interesting!! people can hear the noise when talking through the blue tooth, but these guys can't. I strongly believe that after they collected my money, my car hardly left the parking area. There is zero commitment towards their clients. They also have recurrent issues with communication. Hard to get someone to answer the phone and if you are lucky enough to hear a voice, good luck talking to a service adviser. My experience??? The worst. Sorry Subaru, but while you don't provide a reliable service to your customers, I would highly recommend NOT BUYING YOUR CARS!! More
Needless delays Two and a half hours after being told my car was ready to pick-up, I still had to wait 20 minutes at the cashier's window for "the paperwork to be clo Two and a half hours after being told my car was ready to pick-up, I still had to wait 20 minutes at the cashier's window for "the paperwork to be closed out". Given that they're charging premium dealer prices for service, you would think they could get the bill ready in two and a half hours. During the past year, every visit there has been an exercise in frustration from dealing with their having way too many cars in too small a space. Next time I'll try a different Subaru dealer. I'm done with Ladin. More
A comedy of errors in 24 hours We brought our 2017 Outback in to have the right side mirror replaced yesterday. We'd been there last week for the quote and for them to order. Yester We brought our 2017 Outback in to have the right side mirror replaced yesterday. We'd been there last week for the quote and for them to order. Yesterday, after we waited for 2 hours, when we checked we were told they should have told us much earlier that they got the wrong mirror. Back this morning when they called to say mirror arrived. They installed in an hour, swell. Told to wait outside, after 1/2 hour the car wasn't out so we checked at desk. Oops, got lost in the vortex. Finally, they brought it out unwashed so....waited this long...it only took them 25 minutes to wash it. We had a good buying experience here, but the service needs a lot of improvement. We'd been thinking of adding a new Subaru to our line up but will not got to Ladin for sales or service again.#norespect More

The space was tight but at the employee's insistence, she continued and ended up with a deep, nasty gash on one of the doors by a part protruding from the truck! Her service advisor appeared unconcerned, brushed it off as something "the insurance will take care of" and proceeded with the appointment. The service was minor - oil change, tire rotation and engine air filter change - and my daughter was given a loaner car to get to and back from work and told that it should take "a couple of hours." A "couple of hours" turned into five (5) days with no communication from the service, no returned calls and no response to multiple daily calls and voicemails by my daughter. I had to call the receptionist on the fifth day (also a Friday) and insist on talking to the Service Manager, who at first knew nothing about it, acted very surprised and concerned and promised that he would find out and get back to us shortly. He didn't, but the original service advisor did and simply said that they didn't feel the need to do anything about the door. I demanded to talk to the Service Manager again, but at that point, he "stepped out and would call me back." He did but flatly told us that the company did not see it as their problem and "advised" us to take it up with our insurance. We understand that that is what insurance is for, but the good people at Ladin Subaru do not seem to understand that that is not the best nor the most productive way to treat their customers. That is why we will be taking our car for service elsewhere until our lease comes up at the end of the year and why we won't be having another Subaru after that. We will definitely NOT recommend this dealership to anybody we care about. More
