Extremely Slow and Lack of Loaner Cars Was Extremely Frustr I found their service to be extremely slow and the fact that they don't have loaner cars available to be extremely frustrating. I used this dealer as I found their service to be extremely slow and the fact that they don't have loaner cars available to be extremely frustrating. I used this dealer as the dealer where I purchased my car (Tower Ford) has closed down. My car has 38K miles on it and was in because the transmission was acting up, in addition there were 2 recalls that needed to be addressed as well. I checked with the service tech when I scheduled the appointment 2 weeks in advance if there would be a loaner car available, to which I was advised there are no loaner cars. It turned out my car pretty much needed a complete rebuild on the transmission, which took Crown exactly 2 weeks to complete. I was down a car for 2 weeks and my wife and I had to be inconvenienced while my 3 year old car was at the dealer having warranty work being done and 2 recalls worked on for 2 weeks. At no time was I offered some type of alternative such as a rental car or anything, as I did ask about the rental car and was told Ford would not cover this as the original warranty 3 years 36K miles had expired and this work was being covered under the power train warranty. When I was finally able to pick up the car I asked again about the loaner car availability to which the person told me the dealership has 3 loaner cars, but the owner specifically reserves them for their fleet clients. Once again I have a 3 year old car that was at the deal for 2 weeks having my transmission re built and neither the dealer or Ford would do anything to get me a car I could use to be less inconvenienced. I was very dissatisfied with this experience. More
