Wish I could rate lower than one star. Took my car in for Ford recall involving ABS system. Service tech said and wrote "will need to replace HCU before recall can be done." Recall involves replacing H for Ford recall involving ABS system. Service tech said and wrote "will need to replace HCU before recall can be done." Recall involves replacing HCU free of labor and parts. This dealer gave me estimate of $1200 to replace the HCU. The tech doesn't see the absurdity of saying they need to replace the HCU to see if I need a new HCU. I refused the estimate. Called Ford Motor Co. The customer support person says she doesn't deal with technical issues. I have been ripped off by Ford and this dealer. More
The customer service is the worst i have ever had I bought a 2019 F250 Diesel in February 2019 shortly after I noticed water in the floor so I took it in for service the next day I was told it was fix I bought a 2019 F250 Diesel in February 2019 shortly after I noticed water in the floor so I took it in for service the next day I was told it was fixed so I picked it up. A few days later I noticed water again so I took it back in and again the next day I was told it was fixed so I picked it up. After a few more days I saw water in the floor again and took it back. This time they kept it 6 days and was told they would have to take the seats and carpet out to find the problem and they called and updated me twice during this time telling me that the seats and carpet would be back in by the 5th day that had it. So they called and said I could come and pick it up so I did but when I went to my truck I noticed they had not removed the carpet are seats when I confronted the service manager he tried to lie his way out saying he never said that they removed the seats and carpet but I had a recorded message of his description of the work to be done. Fast forward to a year later I was taking my truck to the local car wash to get it cleaned for the weekend. When they finished with the truck I got in it and started to drive away when the collision warning activated so I put it in park and got out to see if something was left in front of or behind the truck and there was nothing there so I got back in and tried to drive away and it would not move. At the same time one of the employees knocked on the window and told me that there was something hanging under my truck so I got out and looked and saw the wiring harness was wrapped around the drive shaft. So I unwrapped the harness and found a long piece of the harness nylon wrap tape that must have been loose for a while wrapped completely around the drive shaft and that is what pulled the rest of it down. At this point I knew it had to be towed since it was Saturday and I could not get anyone at the service department at Cross Roads Ford in Apex I had it towed to my house. On the following Monday I had it towed to the dealership and later that day they called and said it was not covered under the warranty because they said I ran over something in the road. I told them what happened and they all but called me a liar, so i asked how something from the road could get to the wiring harness that runs above the transfer case and the transmittion so they came back with the car wash did it either way it was not covered. So I called Ford customer service and they said they backed their dealers and if they say its not covered then its not covered so I demanded a second opinion at a dealer not associated with Crossroads Ford. So they had it towed the Leith in Wendell NC and after they looked at it their conclusion was the nylon tape had become loose and over time had unraveled enough so that it was long enough to wrap around the drive shaft and pulled the harness down and should be covered under the warranty and they fixed it at no charge. My truck was a Platinum edition with 20k miles and I purchased the bumper to bumper warranty for 125k miles and now I feel like I have wasted my money. One thing for sure, I will never set foot one their lot again and I don't think they even care and if I could give the negative stars I would. More

According to service records the vehicle had been serviced and new tires put on in their service dept in Oct 2018. In August I attempted to rotate the tires. All 20 lugnuts had been severely overtightened resulting in 6 broken studs and 20 damaged or broken lugnuts. The vehicles wheels and tires had not been touched since leaving the dealership. I contacted service and the service manager seem to have no concern whatsoever. I wrote a letter of complaint and it was never answered. The lugnuts had been tightened to 150 plus lbs as that is as much as my torque wrench goes to. I used a 1/2 in, 24 in breaker bar with a 4 ft pipe to get the lugnuts off. My vehicle will not go to Crossroads Ford of Cary for service. More

Had a serious problem with my Do NOT take your car or truck into this service center. They are the most dishonest sly people you will ever deal with. Had a serious problem with my vehicle under warranty! That SHOULD be covered at any ford center, and they tried to tell me that I had to of wrecked into something or ran something over! Tried to charge me $4500 to fix something that should be covered under the extended warranty I purchased at my ford dealership! When I picked my truck up after they gave me the diagnosis, I didn’t receive any paperwork on what they had diagnosed! Not even a receipt for the $159 diagnosis fee they charge! The guy I was working with was very unprofessional as far as documentation and receipt accounting goes. Very unprofessional organization. Take your vehicle to an honest place, not this place! More

Horrible Experience! Use another Ford dealer The most dishonest people I’ve ever dealt with. Horribly unprofessional, they will lie and then call you the liar. They advertise deals that they don’t honor, make promises that they never intend to honor. Sure it’s nice to shop inside in the crazy N.C. weather but take it from someone who was scammed, you DO NOT want to buy from this dealership. Go to the other large Raleigh dealership, you’ll have to shop outside but there’s a reason they can afford the indoor showroom and that’s from scamming you out of money. When you confront them about their scam they become very ugly, arrogant and attempt to intimidate you, Greg is the worst any kind of manager I have ever dealt with. Having a person like him as a manager tells me all I need to know about the Crossroads organization. Don’t plan on using any of them again. More
Horrible experience I have taken my 2016 Ford Focus in this service department several times for transmission repair under warranty. After it was replaced I was told t I have taken my 2016 Ford Focus in this service department several times for transmission repair under warranty. After it was replaced I was told there was no guarantee that would fix this common know issue Ford was having with the transmissions in there vehicles. The last time was December 18, 2018 where they again replaced the clutch assembly for there second time and I had it replaced two other times at another dealership. Two days after getting the vehicle back I noticed some problems. I contacted the Service Adviser (Jessie) and was told that I had to drive the car 800 miles so the computer can learn my driving style. Well the problem continually escalated and I was sitting on the side of the highway with a "Transmission Hot Warning" So again I dropped the vehicle off at Crossroads Service and was told my Service Adviser was Sterling. . After a conversation with him I said while I was there I had no high beams and wanted to see if he would put a bulb in to see if that is what it needed. I pick the vehicle up later that evening to find a bill that he said he discussed with about diagnostic of $153. I questioned why the charge that high for a bulb. They recommended $1600 worth of work to replace the existing head lamps and some wiring. That is when he said the Technicians spent several hours trying to track down my problem with the light. I never authorized a diagnostic nor signed any paperwork saying to do that. The bill was reduced to half after a lengthy discussion that got very loud and heated. Again they found no problems with the transmission. Here is the good part .... I left there and went to another establishment where the Service Manager looked at the lights. About 10 minutes went by to find out they didn't plug in my high beams for them to work. This leaves me the question are they even capable of trying to figure out what is going on with my transmission if they are not able to see that my high beams were not plug into the circuit ???? Makes you wonder ???? More
