I found the perfect minivan for my wife on autotrader.com. A 2010 Honda Odyssey with relatively low mileage. The vehicle was being sold by Mark Mead at Criswell Honda. I contacted Mark by phone and arranged a time to come see the vehicle. Mark was extremely friendly and rode with me while I test drove the minivan. My wife had to stay home with our young child, but I wanted her to see the minivan too. Our house was only 10--15 minutes away from the dealership, and Mark rode with me in the minivan to my home so that I could go inside and look after our son while she went for a test drive in the minivan. Mark and I then went back to the dealership to complete the sale and paperwork. My wife needed to sign some of the papers, and Mark was willing to follow me back to my house and give my wife a ride back to the dealership so that she could complete her portion of the paperwork and bring our new minivan home. Mark went out of his way to help us and gave us a great deal on the minivan. The rest of the staff at Criswell Honda were very friendly and helpful too. I highly recommend Mark and Criswell Honda to anyone! More
I sent the below email to the service Manager of this dealership in January, 2013: Mr. Heskett, I went online to make an appointment for my first oil change for my new Honda Pilot today. I was a l dealership in January, 2013: Mr. Heskett, I went online to make an appointment for my first oil change for my new Honda Pilot today. I was a little surprised when I was able to make one for noon today. I was pleased when I was called in about an hour to confirm my appointment time. During that call I was assured it should take 30 to maybe 45 minutes to get an oil change. Honestly, this seems a little long but I was not too concerned about it. However, when I got there at 11:55, five minutes before my appointment time, I was told it would take "about an hour, considering the line". This was less than reassuring and I could easily imagine being there for well over an hour. I was, quite understandably, confused by this so I asked what was the point of making an appointment? I was told that it was simply to let you know that I was coming? Is this correct? Is it your policy to take appointments from customers for your own convenience and not the convenience of your customers? I'm in the habit of making appointments so as to limit my wait times. This is actually a big part of why most (non-medical) businesses take appointments. Please help me to understand. Is this your typical practice? Is it Honda? Criswell? I never received a response. So, I posted it here. Within a day or two, I was contacted by a Ms. Folsom. She explained that it is not the case that they take appointments for their own convenience and that, in fact, they had received several similar complaints. Over the course of several emails, she explained that "...there is a meeting scheduled for tomorrow morning to discuss this very issue...", and "... I will be back to you after our meeting here at the dealership tomorrow." I waited three weeks after that last email for her to contact me, and even followed up with yet one more email to Ms. Folsom. I followed up with her again three weeks after that. I have never heard back from them since. So, they promptly responded to my poor review here but, in the end, did nothing but ignore my concerns, and failed to do other than offer lip service. And, didn't even follow up when both promised and prompted. More

I worked with Suvin initially over email, from the beginning he was very straight forward, open and honest and worked with me to try and get what I wanted. Although I did not leave with the vehicle I wanted I did get a new car. I started going to Criswell even though I purchased my previous Honda from another dealer who was horrible. Criswell has great staff, a great showroom and environment. There express service is truly express. I will be referring my friends and colleagues who are in the market to not only Suvin but also to Criswell. They make the process as painful and dreadful as possible. More

I made an appointment to meet with Tiffany Neel to discuss the purchas of a 2013 CRV. Tiffany was very professional, knowledgable, and has a wonderful personality. My wife and I had been to a few dealerships in the VA area before coming to Criswell and the contrast in the quaility of the way we were treated was remarkable. Tiffany treated us like we were family and made the experience thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable. I felt that the terms and pricing were fair but it was honest, straight forward approach that Tiffany treated us too that finally closed the deal. We can honestly say that she was a huge part of the reason we bought a car from Criswell. She went out of her way to insure that we were completely satisfied and all of our concerns were addressed. I would highly recommend Criswell Honda and Tiffany Neel to anyone and plan to return when it is time for a new Honda. Thank you! More

I highly recommend Criswell Honda and Suvin. They did a great job of working with us and we had a great experience. It did take awhile to finally get to the finance department, but it was a Saturday and ve great job of working with us and we had a great experience. This was the first time my wife and I were purchasing a new car, and I’m glad to say that we were very happy with our experience at Criswell Honda and that we lucked out with getting Suvin Viswanathan as o new car, and I’m glad to say that we were very happy with our experience at Criswell Honda and that we lucked out with getting Suvin Viswanathan as our saleman. We found Suvin to be very professional and not pushy in the least. The one issue with our purchase was that after having prearranged the deal over the phone, we learned upon our arrival at the dealership that due to a glitch in the computer system, the color(s) we desired were not in stock. As a result, we ended up changing our plan and purchased the all-wheel-drive model (which we had already been somewhat interested in), which involved negotiating with Suvin (and occasionally the manager) until the price was right. That being said, Suvin was an excellent salesman to work with, and we appreciated the fact that he was patient and straightforward with us the whole time. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience and I recommend the dealer and Suvin to anyone looking for a Honda. More
