My 2011 A5 developed an odd cracking sound in the back of the vehicle, aggravated when the weather was hot. After multiple attempts to isolate the issue, (and Adam Efland spending a great deal of time ridin the vehicle, aggravated when the weather was hot. After multiple attempts to isolate the issue, (and Adam Efland spending a great deal of time riding around in my trunk) it was finally determined that there was a solder joint which had come loose in the trunk lid. I was given a beautiful A6 loaner during the duration of the repair, which allowed my work to not be impacted by lack of a vehicle. The issues has been resolved, and I once again love to drive my A5! I bought my 2008 Audi TT in Germany and brought it back to the States when I moved back. The dealership in Germany told me that there was some warranty work (4 things)that needed to be done on the car tha to the States when I moved back. The dealership in Germany told me that there was some warranty work (4 things)that needed to be done on the car that couldn't be done there, but only in US, to include a problem with the transmission that caused it to jerk in low speeds, which is now fixed. I called the Criswell Audi Service Department and spoke with Mr. Dick Schiavone. He was very friendly from the beginning. He got the parts ordered that I needed and told me that he would get me scheduled as soon as they came in, so that everything could be done in one day. The following week, I got a call and the appointment was scheduled. I was given a free loaner car for the day and was on my way very quickly to work. The work was finished that day and Mr. Schiavone explained everything to me in detail so that I understood it. And finally, before returning my car to me, they washed it. It was just that little extra attention and detail that will make me a returning customer for all of my future servicing needs for my TT. More
