Watch out for the trade in values. I brought car to Car-Max and their value was 5000 more than Copeland. If i sold car then and there i would have no car. So i went to another dealer who did NOT charge over invoice and he or she gave me the number Car-Max gave me. everyone at Copeland is friendly. No complaint there. They just don't give you value on trade in. I would seriously tell people to get a value from Car-Max. They try to give you a value over the phone but I suggest they see your car. I bought another car from Copeland and was happy with everything except the service dept. did not listen to me. i brought car to another Toyota dealer and Toyota told the dealer to go forward with the fix . (Toyota recognized the problem and had a fix). Only reason I bought cars from Copeland is they had some cars to sell both times. This drought of cars is not as bad as the late 90's but same situation.

nothing to say. i had a defect in the car and copeland would not do repairs . toyota had noted there was a problem. i had car fixed at different dealer who heard the problem right away.

First issue. I bought a Prius in Sept . I have a bad back and I did not realize the effect of not having power seat adjustments would have on my previously operated back. I came back in Oct. to see how much I could get if I traded a car with less than 400 (four hundred miles). I knew I would take a beating but your offer was in my opinion ridiculous. I feel you took advantage of me (I was feeling somewhat depressed and in pain) by offering me a ridiculous trade-in value, which was borne out by Car-Max (I could have recouped almost all my money except for your surcharge).I went to a Honda dealer and would have got the same price. Finally I went to a dealer who had something I wanted and got in essence the Car-Max deal. Copeland was so far off the mark in pricing. One more thing (this is my fault and yours) I never realized the Prius Prime had those seat controls. You did not have any but that should have been brought up. Addressing my second item now. I had a pretty loud rattle in a previous Prius , that I loved after the aforementioned problem was resolved by another dealer. You would not deal with it despite Toyota's statement that certain cars in my era had the same rattle and they said how to resolve it. Oh, one last thing when i bought the older from you I noticed a slight bump on the right back panel. When I had to get help from LoJack he said to me that bump is from a screw driven in too far.You did fix that but I had a rental (ins. took care of it) for several days. Bottom line : I have no luck with Copeland as problems have occurred all along the way. However, the first item mentioned is the big one. As I said i felt taken advantage of because I was sick. Also, i am getting getting treated for a back problem!!!!
