they didn’t fix my car for what i brought it in for. i have a 2012 volkswagen jetta, that someone traded in and they put up for sale. i originally brought it in for the tire service light (which came on i have a 2012 volkswagen jetta, that someone traded in and they put up for sale. i originally brought it in for the tire service light (which came on 10 mins after picking up my car the first time), the bulb out light that kept coming on and off, and a rattling noise that was happening when i would make a turn or go up a steep hill. the first time they only fixed the tire sensor light, which i was kinda mad about because i didn’t get any extra warranty on my car. when i saw the other light come on, and the rattling still happen, i brought it back, but before i brought it back i realized my brakes were not as good as they were before i brought it in, so i asked them to check that as well (they were making a metal on metal grinding noise). it took them 8 days to fix my car, and they told me the part i needed to fix the bulb indicator light situation was on back order, and to pick my car up and they would call me when the part comes in. now i’m a senior in high school, who has a job after school. i don’t really have the time to be coming up to hyannis from falmouth everyday, so i was getting irritated. as soon as i was about to head up there to get my car, i got a call saying to leave my car there for a few more days because they found the part, and it will be done in two days max. i was happy about that, but still annoyed because i didn’t have my car. keep in mind, the whole time i was without my car, i had to drive my moms car, and she had to drive the loaner cars they were giving us because i’m not old enough to get a loaner car (my mom wasn’t very happy that she had to be involved in my car troubles.) so the few days go by, and they end up telling me my cars done. i go up the next day i have off of work, and i’m with my boyfriend (who’s a mechanic). i was so excited my car was finally done, and i didn’t have to deal with the issues anymore. i was wrong. they completely ignored the issue with my brakes, and when i brought it up to Tristan (who i was speaking to with all of my issues) he read exactly what was on the report. we only drove not even a mile down the road and my brakes were still grinding. we called and told Tristan that my brakes were not good, and he told me that they found no issues with my brakes (he read the exact words on the report they gave me). we ended up taking Tristan for a ride, which he agreed to, and he heard the grinding noise, and said something along the lines of it’s not supposed to sound like that but he won’t justify for the brakes going all the way to the floor because it’s an older car (it’s a 2012, no one’s brakes should be going all the way to the floor to stop). my boyfriend and i then asked if they could fix the brakes, like we asked, and he said he would have to talk to the sales manager. the sales manager wasn’t there that day, so i ended up leaving my car, and got a call the next day, while at school, from Justin, telling me my brakes are fine and they won’t be fixing them, and how i wished to proceed. i was at school, and i couldn’t really speak too long, so i told him i’d call him when i got out. my dad ended up calling because i was at work, and Justin eventually told him they would be fixed. my dad picked up my car two days later, and the brakes were still not very good but at this point i just can’t afford the gas to keep going back to hyannis, so i let it be and i’m bringing my car elsewhere from here on out. i drove my car for a total of 10 days throughout the whole month after purchasing it because i had to keep bringing it back. i unfortunately am going to have to not recommend copeland subaru service for your vehicle, ESPECIALLY if it’s not a subaru. luckily i didn’t have to pay for any of these issues because it was under the lemon law, but it’s still irritating. the only person who was pleasant and tried to help us was Everton, and we are grateful for that. I just picked up my new Outback and my entire experience working with Copeland has been fantastic! Robert, the Sales Consultant that assisted me throughout, was extremely professional, no-pressure, and so working with Copeland has been fantastic! Robert, the Sales Consultant that assisted me throughout, was extremely professional, no-pressure, and so knowledgeable and helpful with showing me all of the new technology. The entire process from the sale and trade-in, to working with Brittany on pickup day to complete paperwork, and to interacting with Essence in the service department to have some accessories installed - all was seamless and the entire staff made it an enjoyable experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Copeland to anyone in the market for a new car! More
