Terrible Service, No Accountability, and Untruthful: RUN On Monday August 28th, 2017 I had an issue with my Dodge Caravan; the radiator fan would not shut off even with the key in the off position. I had to On Monday August 28th, 2017 I had an issue with my Dodge Caravan; the radiator fan would not shut off even with the key in the off position. I had to pull the fuse to get it to shut off to keep from damaging something else. After replacing the fuse the fan would not kick on and the engine began to get hot. Doing a little research I found an old recall (#771) that pertained to my vehicle, but indicated the problem would have been corrected in mine because it was manufactured 3 months after the recall. Suspecting some bad parts (radiator fan relay) got through I called this dealership and spoke with the service technician who told me the recall did not pertain to my vehicle and it would have been corrected. The technician never offered to run a diagnostic and basically just blew me off. With the car overheating I couldn't take it to a dealer so I went to a local shop (not Chrysler) that is 3 blocks away. Guess what, it was the same part that was the source of the recall. I called Chrysler Customer Care (an oxymoron if I ever heard of one) and was advised by the rep (Abigail Rivera) that it is not unheard of for bad parts to get through and still be used on cars made after the manufacture date on the recall and they just have to add them to the recall. Abigail asked me if I took the car into the dealership for a diagnostic and I advised her with the car overheating I could not do so. She asked me if the technician I spoke with offered a diagnostic and I advised her he did not. Abigail told me they were opening a case, would escalate it to a Case Manager, and I would get a call back in 24 hours. She also stated the technician should have offered the diagnostic and, if he had, the car could have been added to the recall. However, Abigail stated because he did not and because I took the car to another shop, I may not be eligible for reimbursement of the repairs. How is this possible? Community Chrysler Dodge Jeep of Martinsville's technician told me my car wasn't eligible for recall repairs. The car is out of warranty (it's an older car), and failed to offer a diagnostic to verify whether or not the problem was related to the recall (which is was) and would need to be added. According to Abigail at Chrysler Customer Care, this is a breach of protocol for their technicians. So because this place didn't do their job I am supposed to be on the hook for the repairs? Everything about the recall pertains to my vehicle except mine was made in March and the recall pertained to cars made through December of the previous year. As noted though, Abigail stated there were certainly cases where defective parts continued to be used. I would not recommend this dealership's service department to my worst enemy. In fact, I wouldn't recommend Chrysler at this point. This matter is part of a recall and they won't take responsibility because after they told me they could not do anything for me I didn't bring it to them! How much sense does that make? Time to take them to court . . . Glad I have recordings of the phone conversations and documentation of the recall and repair work done on my car. On 09/01/2017 I filed a complaint with the Indiana State Attorney General's Office and they assigned a mediator. However, nobody from the dealership contacted me until the GM (Todd Castor) reached out on 10/26/2017 via Facebook in reply to my complaint on their page. He claimed he would like to resolve the issue, but only deflected and told me there was things he couldn't say because Chrysler would probably get mad. He also made excuses before he promised to call me back on 10/20/2017. Well, here it is Friday 11/03/2017 and I haven't heard a word from him. I even tried to call him twice and was treated rudely by the person answering the phone. I strongly suspect Chrysler knows they ended this recall too early and my vehicle (along with tens-of-thousands of others) actually fall under this recall and know it will cost them a lot of time and money to do the right thing so they are hoping I will just go away. That is not happening. More

No Buyer's Remorse I was in the market for a newer, used SUV. I started my search on the internet, followed by a visit to local dealerships. Community Chrysler Jeep Dod I was in the market for a newer, used SUV. I started my search on the internet, followed by a visit to local dealerships. Community Chrysler Jeep Dodge's web page had several nice vehicles in stock, so I made the short drive down to Martinsville, IN. After test driving two Jeep Cherokee Limiteds and the Jeep Cherokee Summit, we kicked some numbers around. I was happy with their offer, but I went home to think about it. When I returned to take another look at the Summit, they made me an offer on my trade-in vehicle I couldn't refuse. The process was quick and painless. Now the good part. The sales team. Salesman Matt, Sales Manager Bill, Finance Manager Rick all treated me like we've known each other forever. Other sales team members who came in contact with me were also very professional and friendly. Even if we wouldn't have made a deal, I would still recommend this dealership because of their staff and the way I was treated. I'm 58 years old. I've purchased several vehicles in my life. This purchase was the best in every way. More

Victor Mercedes , the sales manager and the general manager all worked to get me the truck I wanted, lifetime warranty issues I had resolved, and at the price I was looking for. The Laramie/Longhorn truck with specific color, interior, towing options, and other options does not exist in the state of Indiana! After 2 days of searching they were able to find a dealer with my truck that would trade with them and the dealership is three states away. The swap was made and I got my truck at the price I needed with all the stuff I wanted! I have bought and owned over 30 cars and trucks and specialty vehicles and I can tell you I have never been treated with less pressure and better service ever!@ Thanks Victor and team for all your help! Matt told me everything he could about the car since I was coming in from Missouri. He handled my many calls professionally & friendly. He suggested I finance there to save some money, which I did. Matt & the finance team had the payment and trade in amount figured over the phone. When we arrived, Matt met us & we took a test drive, the car looked & drove as expected so we went inside. I met James in the finance department, very helpful & friendly. Signed the paperwork with Rick in the finance department, he was great to work with, also. We were on our way in a few hours. Driving in from a few states away makes you worry things will change when you get there, and they didn't! I found my new to me car on Autotrader, the price was fair. When I'm ready for a new car again, trust me I'll check Community Chrysler first. They are an HONEST dealer & sales team as reflected in their sales efforts for me to make the sale work. Don't hesitate to take a long drive if they have what you're looking for, you'll be happy you did. Thanks again to Matt Cook, James & Rick! More
