Bought a 2008 F350, Hector set me up with his internet special wich was $5000 less than on the window. Jeff took care of the sale details and answered all questions. Jeff has a wealth of knowledge on the special wich was $5000 less than on the window. Jeff took care of the sale details and answered all questions. Jeff has a wealth of knowledge on the diesel trucks. There was a check engine light on and Jeff helped me get a service appointment at there sister dealership wich is Community Ford. After the sale was completed we were getting ready to leave and I noticed some small dents in the front fender. They offered to fix them and I didn't even have to ask. I just mentioned them and they took care of the dents. I taded in a Dodge diesel and all I had were some pictures of the truck and they made the deal without seeing my trade in. Brought my trade in back the next day and picked up my new ride, dent free. This is our 3rd purchase from this dealership. the service is what keeps us coming back. The sales force and great deals keep us buying. More
I bought a used Honda from them that had a bad clutch in it that Hector told me had been fixed. It has not been fixed so therefore I feel like I was LIED to by HECTOR! Please be careful if you buy from this it that Hector told me had been fixed. It has not been fixed so therefore I feel like I was LIED to by HECTOR! Please be careful if you buy from this friendly dealership. It all seems good and trustable but make sure any repairs they say have been done on a vehicle have been done. Make them show you paperwork on the repair and ask to speak with the mechanic who performed the work to be sure. I would not recommend this dealership based on this sole fact. I wrote a positive review for them earlier but am backtracking on it due to the clutch not being fixed as told to me by Hector (sales manager) and the salesman. There is no way shape or form they should state things that are not true or that they don't know about. BAD BUSINESS..................! More

I have been involved in the purchase of three vehicles in the past three years from Community Chrysler, two new, one used. Unlike the typical car salesman, Jeff Perry was always straight with his answers, re the past three years from Community Chrysler, two new, one used. Unlike the typical car salesman, Jeff Perry was always straight with his answers, reasonable on price, and friendly. No high pressure from Jeff, a trait I demand in a car salesman. One of the managers at that location is on my "watch list", but if careful, you will be fine. Overall, I give the dealership a 5-Star rating because of excellent experiences with the service department as well as quality sales staff. Have your financing approved by your bank or credit union before you begin to shop so the dealer can earn that business from you if they are competitive. Their performance in this area has exceeded my expectations by offering an exceptional rate and term much better than my bank. Even if you don't buy here, it is worth a look. Promise. NOTE: existense is spelled wrong at the bottom of this form... :-) It is existence. More
Jason talks a really good game before the sale. Jason talks a really good game before the sale. However, if there is a need for post sale help, one will be hung up on, and told not to call back. Jason talks a really good game before the sale. However, if there is a need for post sale help, one will be hung up on, and told not to call back. I my case, I questioned the Indiana State vehicle tax law prior to the sale, and, was told the taxes were New York reciprical. Post sale, I found this not to be true, thus am having a really difficult time avoiding being taxed twice on the sale. I asked Jason for the Indiana state tax code, and he had no clue what I was asking him for, and, hung up the phone, I called back and asked for Jason's supervisor, and he has not returned my phone call. Regarding internet sales, I have found this dealership less than knowledgeable, and, less than honest. This sale cost 14.25% in taxes between both states. I would not have bought the vehicle had correct information been given. Further, this vehicle has cost over 4000.00 to get it condition to pass inspection in New York. The ABS did not work, the drums and rotors were beyond repair, and had to be replaced, it needed major engine work, near a total rebuild. Two new batteries, the tires I was told were in good condition, were badly weather checked, and would not pass inspection. The air conditioning needed completly replaced... The list goes on.... This vehicle has been in the shop more than two weeks to make it a drivable vehicle. I understand I bought a used vehicle, but, this was clearly scrap yard material. More

I purchased a 2011 Ram 1500 with the Big Horn package from Community CDJ in Martinsville last night, Dec 21st, during the HUGE factory rebate program going on this week. I have been looking fairly serio from Community CDJ in Martinsville last night, Dec 21st, during the HUGE factory rebate program going on this week. I have been looking fairly seriously the past couple months and by luck found this sales event on the Community web site yesterday afternoon....$8,000 rebates on most, if not all, 2010 and 2011 1500 4x4's. I called the dealership immediately and talked to Hector. He gave me a brief rundown including prices and colors of the trucks I was interested in; they have several on site, or at least still did this morning. I drove to the dealership a couple hours later after deciding that this was the right time for me to trade financially. When I arrived, Hector was just returning to the dealership with his very, very late lunch-sack in hand. I offered to wait untill after he ate, but he politely refused and it was obvious that I came first, his meal came later. Hector took me out to the lot and showed me all the Rams that met my requirements, which actually was almost every one of them. He also explained some basic difference in the models, prices, etc. and then turned me over to a front-line salesman, Brian. Brian is a young man (in my eyes), but very mature and very, very knowedgeable of the entire inventory and has considerable experience with Dodge... Brian answered all my tecnical questions with ease and then some. I was looking in particular at the SLT models with the standard 8 cyl engine and had nearly made a choice between color when Brian suggested I might want to consider the Big Horn model. Well, I had not even considered the Hemi package because I believed them to be gas hogs and who can afford gas hogs these days. Folks, it ain't true. Technology and engineering has changed and the Hemi's get great gas mileage, even on the same level as the 6cyl 4x4 I was trading in ! What's more, the price of the Big Horn Hemi was just about the same as the standard SLT's, about 19mpg. Long story short, I test drove the Big Horn, loved it and away we went back to the office....hey, who doesn't want a Hemi. Next thing to do was appraise my trade-in and get an offer. This is the part of the deal I was worried about. I already had my highest hoped-for price in mind as well as my lowest acceptable offer (deal breaker). Brian met my highest hoped-for trade-in price on the very first offer...wow. Too easy I thought, I'll dicker for another $500...they gave it to me. Deal done. Now, it is time to do the paper work, financing, all that stuff; but my bank was closed by now. I had told Brian and Hector earlier that I obtained pre-approval from my bank earlier in the day. The manager took my word for it and trusted me...and I even had an out of state drivers license. I furnished a couple pieces of ID that I luckily had with me. The finance manager (nice guy too)whipped up the paper work while Brian had my new truck prepped and washed. Half hour later I was on my way home with this fabulous new Hemi that I never thought I would own; awesome. I am 63 years old and have purchased a few new vehicles in my day. I will say that my experience with Community CDJ in Martinsville was the most pleasant and easiest trade or purchase I have ever made...flat-out, hands down, the very best. Every one I met and dealt with at this dealership was very professional and courteous; Hector, Brian, Jeff (maintenance), the managers (sorry, don't remember their names), just really good people that know their stuff. By the way, not once did anyone try to 'hard sell' me, rush me, 'up-sell' me, nor bs me...just totally honest, helpful, and straight forward, a real nice surprise. I took them a check this morning and they loaded up my truck box that was still in my old trade-in. Brian filled up the gas tank on the new one last night. Check it out for yourself. I think this awesome rebate will last till Friday. Tell 'em Dave sent you...the guy with the new cherry Big Horn...love it ! More
