I had made the rounds at several dealers, so by the time I called them I knew exactly what I was looking for. My first contact was with Josh on the phone who was remarkably candid and did not seem at all like a slippery sales guy. I soon was talking to Dennis and we were able to reach a tentative agreement over the phone- which no other dealers would do. When I arrived in person Jeff was great at highlighting product features and more importantly at helping me structure the deal to fit my numbers. Their was never any glossy sales pitch. The sales managers Dennis and Steve worked hard to track down my car and never tried to try any tactics I've seen at other dealers with last minute fees and costs to pad the bottom line. At delivery Jeff was thorough and knowledgable in his demonstration of the car's features and controls. I would encourage anyone shopping for a VW to buy at Commonwealth. (Or Honda, Nissan, Chevy etc as I would expect those stores are similarly managed) More

There was nothing wrong with the car itself, it was just me and some quirky personal issues you don' t realize about a car until you own it and drive it every day. The biggest issue was space. I discovered that I really wanted 4 doors, not 2 and found I needed more trunk room. I hated letting go of my sporty, pin- striped Beetle. However, after taking us on a test ride, talking out all our options with us and keeping his sense of humor about my indecisiveness, I finally made my decision after what must have seemed - to Devon - as the longest three hours of his life. I love my new Jetta with 4 doors and a bigger trunk! People buy cars for very different reasons, quirky and all, so my personal thanks to you, Devon for sticking with me!!!! I never had a vanity plate before, but thought why not? I will stop by and maybe you can come out for a run in my new RED-RYD Thanks again, and look forward to seeing what you have put together for my accessory package options! We went to Commonwealth knowing what car we wanted to purchase. We had a price we were willing to pay in mind and planned on shopping around to different dealerships in order to find that price. We took our 2010 VW Jetta Sportwagen TDI in for its' 40,000 service. They couldn't have been nicer - we chose not to have the oil change since it had only been 5,000 miles since the last change. They called when they found a dent in the rim of one of the tires and said that if they rotated the tires, there might be a shimmy. We opted not to repair it on this visit and they were helpful with that decision. They apologized for the cost of the service, but we understood that this was one of the more major service visits. While we had not bought our car from Commonwealth, they couldn't have been nicer to my husband. Thank you. More

I came to Commonwealth Volkswagen to take a look at a car they had posted on a website. I had absolutely no intentions of buying the car, at least not at that moment. Prior to stopping at Commonwealth VW, we stopped at another VW dealership nearby. We were immediately swarmed on by a salesperson that we did not care for at all. He followed us around & tried to inf another VW dealership nearby. We were immediately swarmed on by a salesperson that we did not care for at all. He followed us around & tried to influence us to purchase any of the cars that we looked at; even ones that we weren't looking at. We couldn't get out of there quick enough! When we arrived at Commonwealth VW, we were greeted by a young enthusiastic sales person named Devon Pearse. He politely gave us his name, asked what vehicle we were interested in, & allowed us to go about our shopping without 'hounding' us. He stayed in the background & was within reach when we had questions. We took several vehicles out for a test drive & were informed of not only each of the vehicles, but the dealership & the Volkswagen Company as a whole. We actually enjoyed the day there & were pleased with the final purchase price of the vehicle. They don't play sales games & were pleasant to work with. The best point made was when I told Devon earlier in our conversations that there was a feature that I didn't like on the vehicle remote. He remembered this & had it changed for me so when we picked up our new vehicle, I was pleasantly surprised that he actually listened & followed up on it. I would not hesitate to return to this dealership; they are the best in the area! More

I walked into the Commonwealth Volkswagen dealership looking to information and specifications on the Tiguan. Josh Palmieri took the time to explain and answer all my questions. After reviewing my options, I decided that the best route for me was a used vehicle. There were two on the lot and Josh had me drive one (2010 model). After the test drive, I decided I would like this type of vehicle. Both vehicles were very similar, but I decided to purchase the other (2009 model). I asked Josh if I could drive this model before I actually decided to purchase. He never hesitated for a moment to allow this even though it was later on a Saturday evening and the dealership was technically closed. While on the test drive, Ron Rondeau, the business manager, was very pro-active in determining whether or not I could even get financing. This saved time for both me as the consumer and your staff. I was very impressed with this action. I must say that Josh and Ron were very courteous. Josh knew his product and Ron certainly knows the ins and outs of finance. My experience at Commonwealth Volkswagen was extremely positive and I would recommend your dealership and these two employees to others. More
