Long story short, it took hours and hours both for the sales paperwork and to take possession of the car. We were pushed to sign without full disclosure on paperwork; they presented car for delivery witho sales paperwork and to take possession of the car. We were pushed to sign without full disclosure on paperwork; they presented car for delivery without promised accessories; arrived home to find flawed paint; then 2 months later found out that the registration was not done properly--been driving around without valid registration! Had to renew ourselves for additional $50. Run run run far away from this sleazy car dealership. Be aware as well, they pay people $5/good review up to $50. That's the only way they've gotten the ratings they have. That's probably illegal as well. More
I would highly recommend Commonwealth for your next purchase. This is my second car through them, and both times the purchase experience was relatively stress free and I left feeling like I got a good purchase. I think Commonwealth Motors works hard to satisfy its customers. The people will listen to you and are friendly. I think the prices could be a bit better. Luis Cruz was friendly and helpful. He was not overly aggressive and made the buying process more enjoyable which is unusual when purchasing a new vehicle. My only complaint was that when I purchased an additional security system, I was given inadequate instructions on how to use it and there was no owner's manual left in the vehicle. I had to return to the parts dept. to receive one to learn how to operate it. More
He was readily available to show me what he had on the lot that I was interested in. Answered all of my questions and if he was not sure about something (as he was fairly new) he went to somebody that co lot that I was interested in. I was looking to purchase a new Honda CR-V and went to Commonwealth Motors because it was close to my home and I read good reviews. Gary approached me as I was looking at one of the showroom floor models. He asked if I would like to take a test drive and I said yes. Gary was very informative and knowledgeable with no sales pressure. I appreciated that. I liked the handling and ride of the CR-V. We discussed pricing and trade in. After going through the numbers we came to an acceptable purchase agreement. I ordered some additional accessories and was able to take possession of the vehicle four days later. Drove the V home today and it looks great! More
I was determined to buy a new van and had been given the run around a few times. I thought I finally had found the perfect van at the perfect price, but I had an agreement with the other dealership that the run around a few times. I thought I finally had found the perfect van at the perfect price, but I had an agreement with the other dealership that they would find the color I wanted at the price we had agreed upon which was an unbelievable deal. After waiting 3 weeks, the OTHER dealership kept giving me excuses that it was a popular van (Honda Odyssey 2011 EX-L with Navigation) and they could not find the four colors I had requested.They kept asking me if I wanted my deposit back. Finally, I decided to try "SHOP US LAST" Commonwealth Motors in Lawrence, MA. I called one day, and by the end of the day I was there with a signed deal AND they had located 4 of these vans in the New England area. They promised me they waound have it in a couple of days. They were true to their word and VERY understanding of my current situation. I am thrilled with the way the entire transaction took place. Wilson Ramirez, the Sale Rep. even came in on his day off, not once, but TWICE to accomodate my requests. I look forward to going back to them for my service and am thrilled to have such a great relationship with all the departments there! Kudos to Commonwealth for an outstanding job! More

Commwealth Motors Honda Service Department is very flexible and accomodating. You can either make an appointment or drive in for service. The service advisor (Michael) explained what the service entailed & cost when I dropped my car off, so you know what to expect from your service. The service area is very clean. The service advisors are very knowledgable and provide you with the expectations of your visit up front. When the advisor (Michael)called me to let me know my car was ready for pickup, he outlined everything that was done on my car and also reminded me of the cost. Always a pleasant experience at Commonwealth. They're always accommodating and call the day before to remind you of the appointment. Best thing is that they didn't give me a hard time when I only wanted to do Honda's recommended service at 30K rather than the dealer recommended service that costs more. Although for anyone who wants to do a programmed 30K, 60K, 90K, etc., service, their prices aren't bad. Would highly recommend. More
