When we arrived at the dealership, we were met by Eric, who we soon learned was very friendly and knowledgeable. This is a super dealership. Still the same when it was Armstrong. Everybody is great. The whole dealership is extraordinary. Great experience as always. Scheduled appointment for oil change. Arrived and was told approximate time of completion would be one hour. An hour later my car is still sitting where I parked it with no service performed. When I asked the rep if he thought it would begin to get worked on he stated they had a backlog and were getting to it. If I wanted to wait for hours to be served I would go to a quick lube with one person on staff. If they are going to schedule appointments then some normal time frame to be served would be greatly appreciated. And if you are running behind tell me when I arrive so plans can be adjusted accordingly. I will not be purchasing vehicles from this location following this experience and will not bring vehicles to this location for service in the future and will tell friends to avoid this location. More
I have less than perfect credit but Mr. Lipe really worked hard to get me into a new Focus. I am thrilled with the car and thrilled with the service at Cloninger. David Lipe called me every other day t worked hard to get me into a new Focus. I am thrilled with the car and thrilled with the service at Cloninger. David Lipe called me every other day to keep me updated on his search for the car I wanted. And although I didn't get that car, I am happy with the one I did have. (There was a time frame restriction on getting a car for me.) He was my champion in getting me a loan and making sure I am happy. He succeeded. He couldn't be there for when I picked up the car, but he put me in good hands with David Britt. He made sure I was comfortable with the car and took me around to the service department and introduced me to them. I am VERY happy with the sales department and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a car. (In fact, my dad is looking at the new Fusion and was impressed with the dealership, so I know where he will go first.) Big thanks to David Lipe and David Britt and everyone at Cloninger Ford for making a first time buyer's experience so nice and easy and comfortable. More
It was a "OK" experience. My mother and I love the car. However, it was around 5pm when we test drove the car and I wish we tried out the car overnight instead of being pressured in buying that n the car. We were told by the mananger that he had numbers that needed to be met for President's Day and that the price was for that night only. However, later, I found out the $2,000 rebate was for the whole month. The price was fair but I later found out the price was the same as the internet price of the car and I might have been able to get a better deal if I went home and did more research. Eric, the salesperson, was very nice to work with that night but there was not much follow-up after the sale. However, still love the car. More

We were looking at the Escape. After a dissatifying We were looking at the Escape. After a dissatifying visit to Terry Moore in the morning - they low-balled us on our trade in and the salesman told We were looking at the Escape. After a dissatifying visit to Terry Moore in the morning - they low-balled us on our trade in and the salesman told me the second row of the Escape did NOT lay down flat; that as far down as it went was when the second row headrest leaned into the back of the front seats. This took the Escape off the table as a vehicle to consider. As it was, we were giving up having 3 rows of seats. I went to another Mfr and had my mind set on another vehicle. But we have been a Ford family for 25+ years. My husband wanted me to check another Ford Dealership - at least to see what the trade-in number would be. When Dave was showing me the features of the Escape, I was surprised to learn that the second row seats DID GO ALL THE WAY DOWN. This put the Escape back on the table as a consideration. I could not believe the salesman @ Terry Moore did not know this AND he was going to lose the sale over it. I told him that was a deal-breaker for us. Dave was knowledgeable and professional. He took the time to show me how the vehicle and features worked. He answered all my questions. He did not drag things out or give me a "hard sell". Dave even let me borrow the Escape I was considering for the afternoon so my husband could see it. Over that time I decided we needed to upgrade to one with a few more features. What a great idea that was to let me borrow the Escape because I kinda had my mind set on just buying the base model - and I am SO glad I got the one with a few more comforts. The dealership gave us a fair number for our trade-in. Everyone there was friendly. I felt valued and respected. I will gladly refer family and friends to Dave and Cloninger Ford. Thank you for a pleasant buying experience. More
