We bought a 2013 Mustang GT convertible on 2/28 from Cloninger Ford- negotiated the "out the door" price via e-mail and phone with the friendly salesman.We drove from TN to the dealership the next day 3 Cloninger Ford- negotiated the "out the door" price via e-mail and phone with the friendly salesman.We drove from TN to the dealership the next day 3/1 to pay for and retrieve the car. We had to wait what seemed like an exceptional amount of time, given we gave our stats the night before and all paperwork was to be ready, but that was not a bother. We had a cashier's check for payment, so no financing to go thru. The sum due was for the agreed to "out the door" price which included a processing fee and TTT fees. Almost three weeks later we received a check from Cloninger Ford for the TTT amount paid and no explanation of why it was being returned. In summary, we paid the full processing fee for very minimal paperwork to be done by the dealership and now we have to take additional time to register the vehicle, and pay an additional $80 out of pocket. We have spoken to the title clerk who explained there are too many varied taxes in TN (vary by county) so the message there seems to be it was too much work for Cloninger to figure it out on the front end. We have spoken to the salesman, still a friendly man, who said sorry it didn't go as planned, hope you'll still be our customer. even though we live in TN, Cloninger is not that far from home and we would likely have done business there again. We are a Ford family thru and thru so this is not our first or last Ford purchase. It just won't be at Cloninger again unless someone makes an effort to show they understand the issue and offer some form of compensation. More
Well sorry Eric, you sales guys can be awesome when customers like my husband and I purchased not one not two but THREE vehicles! Unfortunately this is the third trip with the 2012 fiesta, seems the service department need some training, first it was a problem with the power steering, then it was, it needs a gas pedal, needless to say the Lemon is sitting at Cloninger's Ford in Hickory, and lets not forget this car was certified along with a bumper to bumper warranty. As for my vehicle, I love it, problem is your told to "stop bye" alls I have been trying to get is the Pandora app synced with the vehicle, I appreciate that you would of done that for me, however we have been "Bye" several times, a few times your busy another time not even there. I don't live two miles away so it is not convenient for me to keep chancing "stopping bye", simple instructions is all I require!!! Unfortunately, every time we were there to complain about the car, immediately your asked, "Who sold it to you?" I even had one guy ask me, "so what does the car need?" I have every intention to get this out to the public! As far as I can tell once your out the door and drive away in their car/suv/what have you, you are on your own! And for the folks who might happen along and read this, that Lemon was bought for my daughter whom is fighting cancer, a single mom of a five year old that live at home. My husband works in ND, we just wanted piece of mind for her and her son! Weve got nothing but a runaround and added worries. More

He allowed me to look at and test drive each vehicle I was interested in and he was not pushy nor did he rush me into making a decision. H questions. My husband and I came in just to look at the new style of the 2013 Fusion. Eric came over and introduced himself and asked if he could help. As we talked I really liked the color and everything I saw about the car and Eric could answer every question I had. He told me how he could help with some of the things I maybe didn't like about that particular car and the more I dealt with him the better the entire experience became. My husband and I brought the car home with us the same day and never felt one bit of pressure or negative energy. Everyone at the dealership went out of their way to be nice and handle anything I wanted or my every so picky other half wanted as well. There was a question about floor mats and honestly it was never a question, the manager just ordered them and never another word said. Magnificent experience. I would so highly recommend this dealership and Eric. And while we were waiting I started a conversation with Brandy at the entry desk. She was so friendly and nice. She made the entire experience even better. It shows, from the front door to the exit, everyone there is great. Thanks everyone! More
My husband and I drove from Charlotte because we were told if we did we would recieve the deal we desired. Upon arrival Drew knew nothing of what we were told concerning price. We were upset and he told us "Donny's job was to get us in their door...they don't care what we had to do to get there as far as our family was concerned" also, the price given to us once we were in the dealership was double what we had discussed on the phone and we were very explicit on the phone. We had a hold on an equilivent car in Rock Hill for the price we wanted we just prefered the color in Hickory and they WASTED our time knowing we drove 1.5 hours there and have 3 children that we got a sitter for on a weeknight. They didnt even attempt to negotiate saying "they only had $700 wiggle room" terrible experience...wont be back. More

I bought a new 2013 escape tianium from this dealership.The experience was really great. They did not have the car my wife wanted so we negociated a great price and ordered the car from the fact dealership.The experience was really great. Six weeks later the car came in and Bobby honored all the previously agreed on committments. They gave me a great price for my trade in and the whole exchange went without a hitch. I would recommend this dealerr to anyone in the area. I have had service done at this dealership before and they do a really good job and are fair in their charges. More
I rate this dealership very bad, pushy and demanding, the salesman that attended me only cared about making his commmision on my sale, he did not care about me nor my best intrest, he keep telling me how goo salesman that attended me only cared about making his commmision on my sale, he did not care about me nor my best intrest, he keep telling me how good i would look in the car i purchased, and he pushed me into giving him $500 after bringing the car to my job 30 miles away. My children and i hated the care the very next day and hated him for selling it to us. It was not a family car at all which was what i needed with three kids. I have now gone to Priorty Honda of Hunterville, and my children and i are extremly happy More
