The first time I went here and tried to buy a car from them, I had a really bad experience with one of the finance reps, I left the place feeling really aggravated and without a car. Next day the sales manager contacted me and asked me to give them a chance to make it right for me and they did. They gave me a better deal and made sure this time the whole experience was professional, nice and easy. The sales rep - Kairy, and the sales manager - Larry were nice and helpful, Kairy even took the time to explain how to use the shifter. The finance rep who helped me this time was so professional and polite, just great! I absolutely don't regret going back and getting my car from them. Now I'm a happy customer with a brand new car. Well done guys, well done! More
Clay Cooley Nissan Breaches SIGNED Sales Clay Cooley Nissan Breaches SIGNED Sales Contract • Came in to pre-purchase a Rogue "In transit" • Two hours later signed all sales Clay Cooley Nissan Breaches SIGNED Sales Contract • Came in to pre-purchase a Rogue "In transit" • Two hours later signed all sales and finance contracts and put down a deposit • Told it would arrive at end of month and they would call us • Just days later they put it on their website and sell it for ~$2,000 more (We have the screen shots and recorded phone calls to a rep and a manager to prove it) They then call us over a week later **after** they sell it claiming: .... "We called numerous times for "two weeks" ....with no answer" Our phone has 27/7 answering and never used email ..... "Unfortunately we did sell the vehicle" ?? Gee wonder why? ..... "We sold the car to you on Dec 8th". NO. Sales contract date was 11/23 .... "We agreed to give you same price but not what you wanted" (Yeah right why would we not want it? Why did you sell it after we bought it?) Their mind-boggling and irrational response exactly as sent to Dallas Better Business Bureau: YOUR CONCERN IS DEFFINATLY UNDERSTOOD. WE REACHED OUT TO YOU WHEN THE VEHICLE YOU CONTRACTED ON ARRIVED. WE CALLED NUMEROUS TIMES FOR TWO WEEKS STRAIGT WITH NO ANSWER. UNFORTUNALTY WE DID SELL THE VEHCILE TO SOMEONE ELSE BUT ONLY WITH THE INTENTION OF SELLING YOU AN IDENTICAL VEHICLE IN FEATURES AND PRICE THAT WAS IN TRANSIT. WHEN WE CALLED YOU TO TELL YOU THIS YOU WERE UPSET BECAUSE THE OTHER CAR WE WERE GOING TO SELL YOU WAS MORE IN PRICE BUT WE AGREED TO TO GIVE YOU THE SAME PRICE. ONCE THAT OPTION WAS NOT WHAT YOU WANTED WE PROCEEDED IN GIVING YOU YOUR MONEY BACK WITH NO ISSUES. IN CLOSING WE WOULD STILL LOVE TO EARN YOUR BUSINESS AND WILLING TO GIVE YOU THE SAME DEAL AS LONG AS INVENTORY PERMITS IT. ( They know there are no more in inventory) Bottom line they realized they sold and financed it for too little...so they remedied that by just walking away from a legally binding sales contract. Why? So they could sell a high demand car for more money and higher amount financed. (We put down $20,000) Now we go to arbitration. Will wait to see what the Texas DMV learns. THINK CAREFULLY BEFORE DOING A PRE-PURCHASE FROM CLAY COOLEY AND GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING. NO PHONE "TALKS" UNLESS YOU RECORD IT More
Worst experience ever!!!!! My vehicle towed in on a Thursday night didn’t hear anything til Saturday after I called!! I was told it was a fuel pump…. They had to order the part, the part was suppose to Thursday night didn’t hear anything til Saturday after I called!! I was told it was a fuel pump…. They had to order the part, the part was suppose to be in on Tuesday morning…. Again I called the part didn’t arrive because of the delivery truck broke down….yeah I believe that story……so the part shows up Wednesday and I’m told we have the part but the tech assigned to your vehicle is out sick…. Really!!!! So it gets finished Thursday afternoon late…. Mind you now this is a week long !!!!! Go pick up the car and they have the nerve to CHARGE me 12.70 for freight on a part they didn’t have !!!! And these people also charge you 60.00 for a disposal fee!!!! That is ludicrous, as if they are not making enough money on the horrendous charges that they charge….over 500.00 for a fuel pump that I can buy from a dealer 286.00….then they charge over 700 in labor and do not show the hours on the receipt… the hours on the receipt show it took the tech 1 minute to change 12:25pm to 12:26 pm….. please do not take your vehicle to that service dept unless you want to pay outrageous fees and services that they cannot explain…. About a year ago I went to Clay Cooley to get into a lease to shave off some negative equity. A salesman stated that have this new leasing program which I would be able to trade in my car in one year. S lease to shave off some negative equity. A salesman stated that have this new leasing program which I would be able to trade in my car in one year. So I was ecstatic about the opportunity, to not only shave off my negative equity, but also get a new vehicle that I really want. So a year passed this October and I brought back my car just like I was told under the miles they told me to keep it under. I purchased a vehicle that I really wanted. After I week or so I started to really dive into the contract and found out that I still had the same negative equity from the first time I came to this dealership. I spoke with my finance manager and he said that we signed you up into a VRU program that helped with getting a better rate. I came to this dealership with a 742 credit score, practically could get any car with that credit score, so there was no reason that I should have been put in such a program. So I told them that this is not right and I want to get out of my contract. They apologized and said that the sales manager who did you like that has since been fired. I asked them if I could cancel my contract, because they had me a loan of over 50k on a 2k18 GT challenger, which was ridiculous. They said the only thing you could do is have a voluntary repo, which I did not want at all. So I called the credit unions I was financed under to see what I can do. They stated since this was a indirect loan from a third party company, all I needed was the dealership to call and make this happen. So I was going back and forth with the finance manager by text on if he could call to make this happen. He stated that he had already called like 5x. So I called the credit union back to see and they stated that he never called once. So I told him about this and he kept saying you don’t want to do this because it’s going to be a voluntary repo. The representative at the credit union stated that is there scare tactic and all that had to do was call to cancel especially since they acknowledged that you were done wrong. So the finance manager told me to come in to talk with the Manager in charge, Mr Pedro. So of course he did not want me to cancel, so he gave me a deal for a lease if I paid the first months car note. I explained to him that I’m grateful that you’re attempting to make this alright but I do not trust this company at all and have already gotten burned twice by you all. So I asked him if he could just call the credit union to cancel this loan, he respond, “I’m not calling no motherxxxxing body”. I said ok sir got my stuff and walked out. Anybody who took time to read this, think twice before purchasing at this place or any Clay Cooley dealership. More

Unfortunately, we had already purchased another vehicle from another dealership and had to settle on something we weren't completely satisfied with. The GSM (Pedro) worked really hard to remedy the situation and was extremely kind and responsive to my texts! He even offered to help us get the trim we wanted from the Duncanville location, and also tried to coordinate transit for the vehicle to the Irving dealership so that he could work with us directly. Now that's good customer service! Try working out a deal for yourselves at this dealership if you're interested in a Nissan in the future. More
