I had recently seen a Nissan Kicks while I was visiting a friend in another state who had recently purchased a Nissan Kicks. I researched online various dealerships in my area and chose Clay Cooley Nissan in Irving I’m sooo glad I did. They were fabulous! I wanted a SR premium package in blue and they got me one. I was very impressed with the extras in the Cooley family deal. My salesman was Jermaine Brown. He was great he really listened to my needs and made it happen! With such great experience I can’t imagine going anywhere else! More
I was planning to go look at the Nissan Kicks at some point over the weekend, with the intent to buy it, I just wanted to see the size in person first. I'd already priced it online and gotten pre-approve point over the weekend, with the intent to buy it, I just wanted to see the size in person first. I'd already priced it online and gotten pre-approved financing on 1/11, with the approval being valid for 30 days. After I was pre-approved, the dealership was automatically notified almost immediately. I got a call and text from Brian Reyes later that evening, while I was at work. I planned to call on my next day off to schedule an appointment. On 1/12 around noon, I got 3 back to back calls from a different number. Since I work nights, I was sleeping & it woke me up. Not necessarily his fault, even though 3 back to back calls with not enough time to leave a voicemail is already a bit aggressive I answered, concerned that there was some sort of emergency. Once I realized that it was Mr. Reyes calling, I tried to quickly explain that I was sleeping for work that night & would contact the dealership soon, to schedule an appointment for my next day off. Apparently, this was unsatisfactory. He continued to ask exactly when I would be able to call or visit. I explained again that because I was sleeping, I would schedule the appointment later. After 3 times of this back & forth, he says "well, it doesn't seem like buying a vehicle is a priority for you." I told him to have a good day & disconnected the call. He was quite wrong. This incident completely ruined any interest that I had in getting a Nissan at all, especially from Clay Cooley. I instead changed my plans & went to another dealership in Arlington, and purchased a different vehicle yesterday, on 1/14. I guess I do have to thank Mr. Reyes a little. Had he not been so aggressive, impatient and unwilling to listen, I would not have found the Mazda CX-5 that I purchased yesterday. More
