I've been buying my Subaru cars from Flemington Subaru dealership since 1986 (actually back then they were in Glen Gardner). Rick H was a great sales person then and still is today. My most recent new Legacy purchase was just 3 weeks ago, and I am very, very happy. Rick is always friendly, respectful and offers an honest and fair deal. And the service team is super - they keep all of my Subarus running well past 200,000 mile mark. What makes this dealership stand out from all others is that the Sales and Service staff are truly like a family, several have been there since my first purchase. I know them by name and they know me. People only stay with a dealership that long if they enjoy it, so that in itself says it all. Sales and service are always tops! I have purchased 5 Subarus from this dealership; this week I purchased a 2014 Limited Outback Wagon. By this point, you'd figure I'd go someplace else and try another car. I could have purchased many other brands or gone to other dealerships. I have owned plenty of cars, including Audis and Volvos. But the Subarus have a lot to offer in terms of cost of ownership for the features you get, their top safety rating, cost to operate, great handling on the road... and the 2014s have lots of space and new features. As for Flemington Subaru specifically, you can expect an excellent experience. The dealership is well run, the staff are helpful and very well informed. You will get a very competitive price, an honest deal from people who know what they are talking about, and who listen carefully to what you need. They will go the extra mile to make sure you get the car that you are looking for. Five cars from one place says a lot! Rick is my salesman, but Ridge, Bob, and Glenn also assisted with my most recent purchase. So did Joe in service regarding servicing my 2009 Outback that is going to another family member. The service department is great. I know that my investment in this new car will be taken care of, and that I will have a safe, fun drive for many years. I started out going to other Subaru dealerships only because they were closer. They were preditory and pushy and would just nickel and dime you at every chance they can get. I basically used them to get a feel for what I want and then I go to Flemington Subaru where Rick Hungerford is my go to sales guy. Rick knows his stuff! Has been driving Subarus for a number of years and will explain every last detail that you can question him on. I have bought 2 cars from Rick and he has always been good to me. Flemington Subaru will give you a great price for the car you want. They do not inflate the price on cars by putting edge guard or trim guard and charging you obscene amounts of money for it. They do not pre install remote starters on every car and charge you double the sticker price for them. They dont do any of the typical pushy sales/inflated price tactics that you expect from other dealers. For my first Subaru that I purchased from Flemington Subaru back in 08' I needed something cheep and dependable because I was still in school and commuted 30 miles one way to get there. Rick helped me find a great car that did good by me for 80K miles and 5 years. He even came down on the price ( probably out of pitty for a local college student ). 5 years lated I traded the car in for a great value and upgraded to a car that was not even on the lot. I asked rick to find me my dream car and he delivered in just 3 days. The exact car, in the exact color, with the exact options that I wanted was waiting for me when I came back to the dealership to pick it up. The terms were exactly the same as we had talked about a few days before and there were no surprises. The truth is that Flemington Subaru is over an hour drive for me to get to but I wouldn't dare go anywhere else. Also, Glen is hillarious. More
