The only thing worse than the work quality of Jersey City Chevrolet, is the ability and character of the personnel including the service representative and mechanic assigned to coordinating and working on my Chevrolet, is the ability and character of the personnel including the service representative and mechanic assigned to coordinating and working on my vehicle. It's hard to say if it's a lack of competence, lack of intelligence, or lack of character but I would suspect it’s all three. When the vehicle is in far worse shape upon return then when it was dropped off and you get nothing but lies, ineptitude and the run around, it’s easy see why Jersey City Chevrolet has the worst of reputations among GM owners Northern New Jersey. Improperly replaced parts, Spark plugs not tightened with noise incorrectly attributed to fuel injectors, invoiced charges for axle fluid changes that were not done and the worst wheel alignment in the history of wheel alignments, it’s easy to see why Jersey City Chevrolet’s reputation is so poor. The level of lying and scamming and shoddy work are amazing, I’d just as soon expect to see this staff selling ice cubes to Eskimos than making legitimate and correct repair work on motor vehicles. As a reasonable person, and having done mechanic work many years ago, I had been patient and very fair with the service representative and mechanic in giving them the benefit of the doubt with their excuses and lies when it came to the second and third time I went back to complain as it was obvious the work product was below any acceptable level. I should have known better given this Jersey City Chevrolet’s reputation and not even brought my truck there to put air in my tires let alone over $2,500 in repair and maintenance work. Clearly it seems shame on me for giving them an opportunity to disprove their putrid reputation. More
