I would never again step a foot in this dealership. The desk manager Bryant was not even interested in trying to make the deal. He completely did not want to earn my business and from my opinion he should desk manager Bryant was not even interested in trying to make the deal. He completely did not want to earn my business and from my opinion he should not be holding a title as a manager in any store. After getting told the deal couldn't get done. I went today to another dealer and the deal was made with no problem. (just purchased the vehicle else where) to bad you guys didn't get my business. Maybe if you guys had someone with some real sales experience!! More
My husband and I visited several dealerships including Acura, Toyota, and Jeep/Dodge in search of an SUV for our growing family. We had resolved to continue our search in a few days, but on a whim decided to stop into Chevy of JC. So glad we did. Elliott greeted us at the door and we immediately set expectations of what we wanted in a vehicle and where we wanted to be in terms of price. It was obvious that Elliott was extremely down to earth and lacked all of the stereotypical "car salesman" traits that we had been subjected to all day. This was a breath of fresh air. We test drove the Equinox and went onto the sales floor to get an idea of the quote- still not intending to leave with the car. Elliott and John were great. As expected, there was some negotiation, but it was never contentious and it did not take long to be fully comfortable with the price and decision to lease the Equinox. What a wonderful staff- it is clear that all of the staff gets along with one another- not only did we have a great experience with Elliott and John, but we chatted with everyone on the floor. Each person was pleasant and genuine, which is so rare. I highly recommend this dealership! More

His knowledge of the vehicle and related features was exemplary. Jerry Rincon, the salesperson, is enough of a reason for me to recommend this dealership to anyone who is searching for a new vehicle. The price I paid was reasonable and although you never leave a car dealership convinced that you got the best price, I am confident that I did very well at Jersey City Chevrolet. Their internet sales could use some help with customer relations, but overall, I found my experience at the dealership pleasant. If you're in the market,look for Jerry. You won't be disappointed. Brian Girandola gave me his word that every one of my needs would be met before making my purchase and kept his word without question. John Grillo made it his mission that I would be happy with my decision and completed that mission with flying colors. I purchased a brand new Chevy Sonic and I could not be happier with my decision. Will, Brian, John, and the entire staff made me feel like I was the sole reason they came to work. To say that the customer service I received at Chevrolet of Jersey City was Top-Notch would be an under-statement. I truly hope that I will not need to purchase a new car for some time, but when that time comes I will definately purchase another Chevy and I will definately purchase it at Chevrolet of Jersey City. I WAS LOOKING TO TRADE IN MY OLD BEAT UP PATHFINDER FOR A NEW CAR FOR MY WIFE. I WENT TO SEVERAL DEALERSHIPS NOT KNOWING EXACTLY WHAT CAR I COULD AFFORD AND LIKE..AFTER 2 WEEKS OF TEST DRIVING DIFFERENT NEW CAR FOR MY WIFE. I WENT TO SEVERAL DEALERSHIPS NOT KNOWING EXACTLY WHAT CAR I COULD AFFORD AND LIKE..AFTER 2 WEEKS OF TEST DRIVING DIFFERENT VEHICLES I NARROWED IT DOWN TO THE HIGHLANDER AND THE TRAVERSE. I WAS VERY UNDECIDED BETWEEN THE TWO, SO I KNEW IT WOULD COME DOWN TO WHO COULD "SELL" ME THE CAR. TOYOTA WAS VERY AGGRESSIVE AND PUSHY AND WAS SEMI KNOWLEDGEABLE ON THEIR VEHICLE AND JUST KEPT ASKING FOR MY SS NUMBER..WENT TO JERSEY CITY CHEVROLET AND WAS GREETED WITH KNOWLEDGE, CONFIDENCE AND SENSITIVITY TO MY NEEDS..I ASKED A MILLION QUESTIONS AND "ERIC LOPEZ" HAD THE ANSWERS, SO I DECIDED TO "RIDE" WITH THE TRAVERSE..HE SOLD ME A BRAND NEW 2012 TRAVERSE.
