The finance department was very knowledgeable and clearly explained every piece of paperwork. I walked away with exactly the car I wanted and have been very pleased with the entire experience. More

Great experience taking our older GMC Canyon in for a thorough service. It had been garage kept and is rarely used but they checked it out top to bottom, kept us informed of everything on the estimate a thorough service. It had been garage kept and is rarely used but they checked it out top to bottom, kept us informed of everything on the estimate and delivered on time and on budget. Very personable staff from being greeted by the sakes staff on the way through to dealing with the customer support staff, service advisor and service manager. The GM was out greeting customers and stopped by and said hi to us and other folks in the waiting area. We will definitely continue getting our Canyon serviced here. She is as good as new. More
.Bought used car from them seven years ago. Dealer has done all work on vehicle. Had emissions problem and dealer did $850 worth of repairs and then could not finish repair and informed me the vehicle wa done all work on vehicle. Had emissions problem and dealer did $850 worth of repairs and then could not finish repair and informed me the vehicle was not stock and they only repaired factory stock vehicles. Now taking it to another location which will do its own diagnosis and repair of what is broken or not repaired correctly since dealer did not finish repair and would not send vehicle to another shop to finish repair they started and charged for. Purchased Toyota Prius 2011 Hybrid last Saturday, August 21, 2021. It was raining all weekend, we drove the car home and Monday comes, my husband noticed the leak under the engine motor. The engine motor is 21, 2021. It was raining all weekend, we drove the car home and Monday comes, my husband noticed the leak under the engine motor. The engine motor is leaking and when we check the level of oil, it was empty. We called the dealership and spoke to the sales agent Bill and the manager Travis. My husband told them about the problem that the car does not have oil and it was leaking. They told us that because we purchased the car as-is they can't do anything for us. We can bring the car to them and get it check and we will be charge for it. This is the worst dealership I have ever experience. Worst customer service, although it is as-is you won't expect anything that could happen in the car within just two days??? Beware of this dealership!!! They don't care about the customer service because they think they are BIG company. That is how I see the people that are working here, they don't care about us small customers. More
We're shopping for a car for our daughter and this particular dealer advertises a price on the internet and then doesn't honor that price. They claim to add a bunch of nonsense to the vehicle like se particular dealer advertises a price on the internet and then doesn't honor that price. They claim to add a bunch of nonsense to the vehicle like seat protection lol. No thank you sir!!! We weren't born yesterday. We have cash in hand and they wouldn't honor the internet price. I guess that's why they have 3 sitting on their lot and nobody else has them. They aren't in to actually selling cars. More
Charged 415.00 for an ignition module repair. I had car towed in they said I brought it in without an appointment. Seriously? It stopped running I had no choice. Charged 124.00 for the part when they cost towed in they said I brought it in without an appointment. Seriously? It stopped running I had no choice. Charged 124.00 for the part when they cost less then half of that. It won’t matter what they say or do, I will never go back here for any reason. I do mean never. I will tell others about this experience as well. I get the pandemic had businesses to not make as much money as usual years but I won’t put up with the legalized theft. More

The main We decided it was time to trade in my LOW mile diesel truck and get a larger, more comfortable gas vehicle, and I should have gone to NuCar. The main purpose of the vehicle was to go see our son stationed at an Army base in upstate NY. I found an older Suburban at a Hertrich dealer in Seaford and had the vehicle brought to the Dover location, so we did not have to drive so far. Let me preface this with I have absolutely no issues with our salesman he was wonderful. Our issues are with management and ownership of this franchise. We get there to test drive the vehicle I selected, and the check engine light is on. OK, no problem I just wanted the code so that we could determine if we could fix the issue or we had to pass. While waiting for over an hour for that to take place, I decided to let them value my vehicle. I was going to take the truck down the street to another dealer who had given me a very good cash offer but decided to see what the offer was as I knew what the trade-in value of my truck was. They reviewed my truck and took photos, and another hour later, they came back with a value of over three thousand less than my cash offer. I said there was no way I was going to eat seven thousand and then finance another seven thousand for the Suburban. They told me they would not sell my vehicle, and it would go to auction as it was not something the dealership would sell. But yet I was looking at a vehicle of the same year as my truck and with HIGHER miles. After my salesman talking to used car managers, they said they found a wholesaler who would take the truck for nine thousand, and they would only make money on the sale not the trade. I did not argue on the purchase price and decided that if there was no turn around on my trade and profit was only on the purchase; I thought that was fair. we finally got the code off the Suburban, and it was something we could handle, so we made the deal. After we let, I received a call that my paperwork was not complete, and I needed to return to sign additional papers. OK, no problem we returned and signed the paperwork. Although in the back of my mind, I still was a little unsettled about my trade, just going to auction. So, I checked Hertrich's website and low and behold there was my trade listed with the same pictures they took from the day we were there. They knew all along they were going to sell my trade; they just tricked me into believing they were only making money on the purchased vehicle. Had I known they were going to sell my truck, I would have argued for another thousand in trade. I decided to call to speak to the owner because the deceptive practices look horrible on Hertrich as a whole, not just this location. I had to email his secretary and wait and wait, and wait. I emailed her a second time with a response of she would take this to the owner and get back to me. The response came back with Mr. Hertrich is busy with issues due to COVID19, and the Chevy manager has the authority to rectify the situation, and he would be calling me. Do you think I wanted to deal with the same location that I had a problem with? No! The manager told me that he looked into the issue, and they could not wholesale the vehicle because they did not know there was a lien. Which was a lie, everyone, on the day I came in KNEW, there was a lien I said it several times, and they asked what my payoff was at the time of the trade. Again, I was told they do not sell older high mileage vehicles, but I just bought an older high mile vehicle from them. The Dealership manager's solution was I could come back in and buy my truck back and try to sell it outright if I thought I could get more money. My response was as a military family on a fixed income, and I just financed the purchase how did he expect that to happen? That was an asinine solution, and I expressed that to him. When I emailed Mr. Hertrich’s secretary again to tell her I wanted to speak to her or the owner and clarify some things, she had the Chevy manager call me again. I finally received a call from Mr. Hertrich but missed it and returned his call with no return phone calls thereafter. I did receive a call from the Chevy dealer as they lost additional paperwork I signed and had to mail me another document to sign. If you want to be lied to, swindled, your documents lost, and if you have an issue to be insignificant to the owner, then this is your place. If you want to be treated with honesty and respect, then do not shop here. More

I called and spoke with I’d leave less stars if it was possible! Extremely unprofessional! I called to ask about a Silverado I saw on the website. I called and spoke with Will Sheppard who told me he would verify the truck was on the lot and get back to me. He text me (didn’t call or even ask if text was ok) saying “ . . . The truck is available . . . “ I responded asking for more info but I didn’t hear back until I called later that night. When I called them, I spoke to Matt Ceassna who couldn’t give me specific info for the truck I wanted because, as it turns out, THE TRUCK WAS NOT ON THEIR LOT! They could get the truck the next day. I was contacted by Will the next morning who asked if I would pay a deposit to see the truck. I said no because I lost confidence in them after the previous issues and I asked if they would bring the truck for me to look at without the deposit. At this point the texting stopped and I didn’t receive a response until I called to get some answers. First I spoke with Matt who transferred me to Will without answering my questions and then Will told me that I misunderstood his “The truck is available” text and he was looking into the trucks availability. At this time it was around 11:00am and I thought if they really wanted my business they would have been trying to get me answers. I decided I was no longer willing to waste time with them and as I was telling all this to Will, he hung up on me. Instead of calling back, he text me and tried to blame me for hanging up on him in the middle of me speaking! This dealership is a joke. If they wanted my business or anyone’s for that matter they would not treat people like that. I’m not looking to waste anyone’s time and I am not unreasonable. In fact I spoke with another dealer later that day and a deal is in the making for the near future. More
