I went to purchase a vehicle from them and received very poor customer service..was not willing to come down on the price of the vehicle, low balled me on my trade, after informing them the vehicle was over poor customer service..was not willing to come down on the price of the vehicle, low balled me on my trade, after informing them the vehicle was over priced ($2,000) they removed it from the site, told I couldn't use my own bank or be charged..DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THEM..I'm glad I realized this before I purchased from them..Thank you for the worst customer service I've received from a car dealership..Fyi found the same vehicle for $4000 less at another dealership.. Worst experience with a Dealership ever I am retired from General Motors and have been purchasing vehicles from different Dealerships for over 40 years and never had an issue that wasn't res I am retired from General Motors and have been purchasing vehicles from different Dealerships for over 40 years and never had an issue that wasn't resolved. I bought a new car at Dover Chevrolet and had issues with warranties and service. I was sold two warranties from the dealership, an extended warranty from a company called AUL and another one called Ding xxxxxx, I was told if I didn't purchase the warranties GMAC would not loan me the money which actually I knew at the time was false and should have ran out of the Dealership, but I like to get warranties especially on a forty five thousand dollar purchase. As they lied about having to purchase the warranties, they also lied about honoring the warranties. I contacted the Attorney Generals office, who contacted the Dealership and the Attorney General was also lied to by the Dealer. I highly recommend GM cars and any other Dealership except Dover Chevrolet. More

Fantastic experience and AMAZINIG staff! I went in for an issue that I was having with my tire pressure sensors on my Camaro SS. I literally was in and out of the dealership in less than 45 m I went in for an issue that I was having with my tire pressure sensors on my Camaro SS. I literally was in and out of the dealership in less than 45 minutes! Come to find out I had a super tiny nail in one of my tires that another dealership was unable to detect. Open, Honest and Trustworthy! My vehicle search started online. I received a respond within 24 hours. After a couple calls back and forth, I didn't feel the time was right. After about a week or so the online sales person called me back to follow-up; her timing was PERFECT! I went to Dover, got the car I wanted Silver, 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee for the price and monthly payment I wanted. Since, my vehicle has received very minor service. Chevrolet of Dover, picked my vehicle up from my place of work, brought me a loaner car until my repairs were completed and returned my vehicle to me within 24 hours. Kudos to the staff at Chevrolet of Dover...Shannon, Will, Charles, Deanna, Johnathon and Jordan. Team work makes the dream work! Thank you all for your assistance. I would strongly recommend this dealership. Be open, honest and they will do the same as well as being trustworthy!!!! More

He honestly completly changed my view after getting involved directly. My wife and I had a Baby on the way and needed to get a bigger vehicle and he made that happen. I mean this man went far and beyond the scope to make things right and honestly if felt great working with another Vet like myself. From then numerous times I've met with Matt and interacted with him hes a stand up individual who went above and beyond to make buying a bigger truck possible and reasonable. He and his dealership in my mind are honorable dedicated and patient. Thank you to the Chevy of Dover team and a special thanks to Mr. Kersey. Because of his dedication to the military vets and personel I was not only able to get a very dependable vehicle for my family, but also it paved the way for my wife and I to buy our very first home. I salute you sir. More
Awful Experience! Emailed dealership Monday, December 4th and expressed interest in a 2010 Ford Mustang that was listed on cargurus. Got a call back from Diana Wells wh Emailed dealership Monday, December 4th and expressed interest in a 2010 Ford Mustang that was listed on cargurus. Got a call back from Diana Wells which connected me to Ryan Caulfield(F&I Director) to discuss price and financing. I asked him to send me a buyers invoice over for me to take to the bank, but he never did. I then emailed Diana back and told her I still haven't heard anything back from Ryan. She told me he was terrible with follow ups and she would let him know that I called. Thursday, December 7th, still no email, call, or buyers invoice so I called the dealership back and spoke with Charles Crippen(Sales Manager) which stated car was sent to auction for sale, but he would try to stop the process. By now I've been emailing and calling for 4 days about a vehicle. Call dealership Saturday to find out if the car sold at the auction and spoken with Charles Gianaski(General Sales Manager) told him my dilemma and he told me to send my information and he would call me back in 4 minutes. Didn't hear anything back so I sent a email back to Dianna, Charles and Charles. Dianna did call me back today and apologize about the hassle and connected me back to Ryan which said he had my information and he would call me back once again (which didn't happen AGAIN), so I called Diana back about 5pm and told her I still haven't received a call back! SO I finally received a call from Ryan which acted like I was harassing him about selling a vehicle. I would NEVER EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP. Very poor customer service. Great Leadership comes from great manager, which everyone who promised to contact me was at the top of the chain and did no such thing! More
Supporting the Chevrolet Legacy My 1963 Corvair Spyder had serious brake problems. I talked with the Mr Jordan Cover, Service Director to find out whether or not they would be able My 1963 Corvair Spyder had serious brake problems. I talked with the Mr Jordan Cover, Service Director to find out whether or not they would be able to work on such a legacy car. He agreed without hesitation. Adam, the service technician, did an exhaustive examination of the brake system. It turned out that the problem(s) were quite involved (improper prior installation of brake components, improper components installation of some brake components), and some other brake-related deficiencies. He was able to locate the new appropriate parts, order them and get them installed. He also noted issues in the gear-shifting and powerplant portions of the car that I might otherwise not have been aware of. Long and short of the story: he and service director drove the car to the DMV where it passed the brake inspection with excellent results. Mr Cover and Adam both were easy to deal with throughout this process. They kept me informed regarding options available for the various issues that surfaced during the car's service, and answered my email and telephone inquiries without delay. Very importantly, they focused on doing things right. They've certainly earned my confidence in all respects for car service! More
