Go see Bill Lohmeyer! I've been using this certified Mazda dealership since 2013 and they are the absolute best in the valley! Customer service has been excellent through out the years and I would recom Mazda dealership since 2013 and they are the absolute best in the valley! Customer service has been excellent through out the years and I would recommend a Mazda over any other car on the market. Bill was exceptionally friendly and professional and I appreciate that he took the time to call me right away to set up a meeting time while also discussing options. He is knowlegeable and well versed concerning all Mazda cars on the lot. Thanks to JP and JS as well! This is a great team! I will recommend this dealership every chance that I get! More
I walked into the building and was immediately welcomed, and felt welcomed. Not like a usual car dealership where people tend to be "pushy." Jacob Sayegh was my salesman and he went above and beyond to help and felt welcomed. Not like a usual car dealership where people tend to be "pushy." Jacob Sayegh was my salesman and he went above and beyond to help me. I appreciated everything he did for me. Hands down, by far the most knowledgeable and nicest salesman I have ever had experience with. I will recommend him to anyone that I know who is looking to buy a Mazda. He made the whole experience from the time I got there til the time I left a great one. Before I left he even took the time to help me install my phone and get everything set up for me (Lord knows I would have been completely lost without his help!) He did not have to help me with all of that, but he did, and it was beyond appreciated! More

Common thread: if you do NOT go through Costco, Chapman apparently will treat you badly. Asked to see about having four fictitious dealer mark-up fees totaling around $3,500 removed and/or lowered and was apparently will treat you badly. Asked to see about having four fictitious dealer mark-up fees totaling around $3,500 removed and/or lowered and was met with hostility to the point that they left the table and never came back. Literally. The sales rep walked off and never returned. A joke at my expense was shared between the rep and the sales manager when they didn't think I could hear them. - No one met me at any point. I had to search around inside to find someone even though I had an appointment and was on time for it. Sales rep never got up to greet me once I found him. - Car was dirty; even had a few large bird droppings on it that had not been removed. "Dirty" not so big a deal but bird excrement is damaging to automotive paint's clear coat. - Most of appointment waiting for sales rep to get paperwork. Out of the nearly 50 minutes, between 30 and 35 of it was me waiting at a desk or looking outside the large windows while the rep was off trying to print out material about things. - Sales rep was not well versed in SkyActiv and i-Activ. He tried to tell me how the sport button worked and either lied or made up what it does. He also had no idea how some of the other features worked when the information is on the corporate website for the world to read about. Final small bit of advice: don't try and sell me the car by telling me how it's tracked and how easy it is to recover if it's ever stolen, and then turn around and try and sell me VIN etching and why I 'need' it in case the car gets stolen. At least lie better. Buyer beware! More
Typical car dealership. Probably the worst I’ve experienced though. My boyfriend and I did our research online to see their used inventory. I had pretty specific criteria and they had one that ma experienced though. My boyfriend and I did our research online to see their used inventory. I had pretty specific criteria and they had one that matched. We called and were greeted by Bill. Bill was nice enough, very much a veteran of the industry- take that as you will. I explicitly told Bill to please look at the car, let me know of any imperfections, etc because I was driving out from San Tan Valley and it would be over an hour and 15 minutes one way for me. He said it was all good except one little “scuff” on the passenger side door. We go out to look, test drive etc. This “scuff” looked like someone keyed the car, deep. It was a gash with a dent behind it. The driver door also clicked when it was opened, almost like it was blown back in wind. 3 rims also had damage. When i mentioned these things initially during negotiations I was told it was used so it is what it is. My boyfriend and i decided to walk away. At this point Andy gets involved because there were no sales for the day and he promised to fix all 3 issues. He also “gave” me an additional $1k on my trade in (which really only took off the bs “desert package” they have no right putting on used cars). With that promise we decided to purchase after all. The process was long and chaotic and they did not give me the chance to clean out my car. I had to drive back days after (2.5 hour round trip) to do so. Andy told me the services would be completed the next week and i asked for a “we owe” to be drafted and signed. I called the next week, couldn’t get Andy but was told they had to wait for my loan to fund and loans funds at the end of the month ( i purchased on April 19). I tried calling in early May, nothing they could do. Tried and tried again until i finally found Andy’s email. Sent him an email to schedule to which he replied a week later. He text and called me and told me to bring it in on June 7th and he would have it all coordinated and a loaner. So, Monday June 7 i take a half day at work to drop it off at noon. No one knows a thing about this, they haven’t heard from all service techs and don’t have loaners- they suggest i bring it in another day. Completely unacceptable, 2.5 hours driving and time off work taken for this. They finally are able to give me something to drive, it takes 3 days to do the repairs and i am told the gash on my door looks “ good as new”. I also received a call from the service manager asking me to pick which damaged rim i would like repaired. Baffled by this. If you see damage, fix them all. That was the agreement. Drive out to pick it up (4th time out there if you’re keeping track). The clicking is gone. The passenger door dent is gone but they did nothing to cover the gash. When we questioned it they told us they had their best dent guy on it but it would have been too expensive to repaint the entire door. The one rim looks nice but there’s another with just as much damage and another with less. When we asked about that we were told the “we owe” they put in the back systems only included one rim. Also need to add- When we brought the car home initially that first night we noticed black greasy finger prints throughout the car and a lot of damage we couldn’t see in the lighting at night. Beware of this as well when inspecting after sunset at the lot. It is poorly lit and you cannot trust them to highlight these issues. I now have to take it to get detailed hoping i can get the grease out (which is probably from their maintenance staff). Overall I’m disgusted with them. Slimy behavior, horrible customer service. Bait and switch in full force. I’m reviewing this all with my lawyer and escalated to Mazda as well. If you’re looking for a car, Mazda is great and i love my cx-5 but i wish i walked away from this specific one because there are lots out there from less shady businesses. Will never refer to Chapman ever again. More
