Chapman Mazda responded

Because this issue was quickly identified as a legal concern between the customer and Mazda, we were advised by Mazda not to respond until Mazda and the customer's attorneys reached a resolution. We substantiated the customer’s concern and forwarded it directly to Mazda immediately and that is why Mazda repurchased the vehicle thus alleviating the customer concern. We are very sorry that the customer felt we did not respond but because of our help she did get the problem resolved. Once a customer gets an attorney involved we are simply the messenger and at that point, once the message has been delivered, we become the silent advocate for the customer. We feel we helped the customer the best we could and hope that in the long run she will recognize that. Jesse McMahan, G.M.
