First and foremost, Dave provided a great, no pressure sales experience. The process of buying a car is always a difficult one, considering the amount of money involved, and it is much worse to deal with More

First, I apologize for the confusion. From time to time, we do makes changes to programs and in this case, we did change our Lube, Oil, Filter discount program the month after you purchased to one that our customers voted on because they prefer discounts that apply to all service and parts in the form of an Owner Loyalty Discount card. But, we always honor our commitments and it seems that the person who explained this to you didn’t also explain that you have a choice of continuing with the LOF discount program or choosing the new Loyalty Discount Card. I am sorry that didn’t get explained to you properly and I will make sure you are allowed to continue with either program. I do want to mention that the original LOF program was $9.99 LOF for regular oil or $29.99 for synthetic. I don’t know where the $24.99 came from other than a mistaken quote. Even the $49.99 for synthetic oil that they quoted you is a large discount from anywhere else you go if full OEM synthetic oil is used. Please accept my apology for the mistake and my offer to make it right with a total refund of your last LOF and then if you change your mind about us and want to continue servicing your vehicle here, you can choose the program that best fits your needs from there. I would welcome you to visit with me in person so I can thank you again for your business and answer any further questions you may have about our services. We do value you as a customer! Regards, Jesse McMahan, G.M.

I have to say everyone was nice to me and they were professional. I had never gotten an oil change here before, so I probably am wrong about the 24.99, but the poster that was hung in my salespersons office was no longer there for me to see. The gentelman that helped me was great but said he would honor the 29.99 price this time but would be 49.99 or whatever it is in the future....so I went into the waiting room and decided to talk with my salesperon that sold me the vehicle about it. He told me that it said subject to change and thats what happened, he told me to look for coupons at mazda website, i said i wont be coming back and he said that sales and service are treated like two different businesses. So you can see my confusion that your are willing to offer me the discounted rate in the future. not sure how many people I should have asked that day.I wasn't going to fight with someone, so i decieded to write you off in the future and voice my opinion about how I felt about your service. I think the oil change service was great and would like to continue service at the 29.99 rate like you offered for synthetic oil changes. Thats part of the reason I drove 25 miles out of my way to buy the car from you. Thanks for responding. Rob Jones

Please contact me immediately so I can answer your questions, and rectify the situation. There is a process between funding and paying off a trade-in. I would like to go over all of this with you personally. Thank you, Gary Seegan General Sales Manager 602-344-0304 Direct

I visited with Gary last night and the Chapman team was even generous enough to pay for my gas as I live about an hour away from the dealership. I left with answers to a few questions, no more progress and the general feeling that just because most people are happy with Chapman, despite my experience, that I should be too. Review has been updated to reflect experiences up to this point - 23 days after the sale with everything still in limbo. We discovered that one reason this had been held up so long is a simple checkbox on the contract the dealership did not check.

Joseph, I am unclear on the Limbo comment? We spoke of the mishap, we talked about the process of loan approval, payoff's on trades, etc... I thought when you left lasy night we had a pretty good understanding of things. I gave you my business card, so that you could contact me direclty for anything in the future. I do care how you feel about our organization. I can't make things right by giving you $2000 or putting you into a Speed3. Those are out of the realm and my power. What can I do to make things right by you? Gary
