ADDITIONAL UPDATE AFTER PHONE CALL BELOW. We’ve tried for weeks to get proof of payoff. Your word isn’t cutting it. Especially since we now accrued a late payment, we’ve received no apology or attempt to pay for the late payment fee that we were promised wouldn’t happen and would “be forgiven by the bank” because “it happens all the time” and the “finance department knows was they’re doing”. And to make matters worse we get a phone call every day or so asking to purchase the trade in that we gave to you that you have not paid off! - - - - - Phone call with Kevin didn’t go so well. He didn’t apologize, take accountability or offer help. Just talked about how this never happens... this is so bizarre.... we sell 281 cars a month and only have 2 GIRLS in accounting (why did he need to say girls?) Well, hire more personnel, or more effective ones if needed. And if you’re selling that many cars you should know the trade in payoff timeline and should be informing your customers if and when that timeline might be cutting it close to their next payment date. Payoff dates should also be used to help prioritize which loans need to be paid off first so your customers don’t have to deal with this issue. Kevin was more concerned about which employees under him weren’t doing their job on the sales floor and who was making the excessive phone calls. We’re annoyed by that, but the car still wasn’t paid off and that was our priority. No offer was made to help reimburse the late payment they caused us. No offer to provide proof that they sent payoff. No offer to provide proof to use to settle this issue against our credit report. He said he would check on the payoff and who was calling us and “call me right back”. That was 2 days ago. And still... my husband is getting phone calls to buy back the trade in that we gave them, even today. Trade in payoff did finally clear our account today, 9/13, even though we purchased the car on 8/10. I’m glad it’s paid off. Finally. However... Without any sort of apology, no returned phone calls as promised, continued calls to buy back our trade in, and the fact that we are left with paperwork to file to fix our credit... I’m going to leave our low rating as it stands for all public review forums and continue to urge my friends not to purchase a Mazda from this dealership. We’ve been happy with Mazda cars and other Mazda dealerships. This one just doesn’t have their act together.
