This was my second service on my 2011 Acura MDX and I have a few things that need to be mentioned. Acura likes to be compared to Lexus, Mercedes and BMW and is worthy of it. However, service is a world a have a few things that need to be mentioned. Acura likes to be compared to Lexus, Mercedes and BMW and is worthy of it. However, service is a world apart. 1. When I call I have to leave a message (they do call back but, it’s not always convenient when they do. 2. When I purchased the car I was promised a loaner for service but, it seems like a putout and they try to talk you into waiting. I can see 15 or 20 minutes NOT two or three hours! (Since when does an oil change and service take hours, it’s like they make an appointment but, simply add the car to the normal flow). I have to admit, I am sorry I purchased the service package frankly. 3. When I purchased the car I was told specifically that when the oil was changed at the dealer, they only use FULLY synthetic oil, not the case, verified this service. I also found out that the Cabin filter is not only not checked but not included in the service. 4. The service drop-off and waiting areas are stark, and outside has a constant flow of cigarette smoke from the sales force hanging around. Not what I expect from a high end dealership. The Honda service waiting area seems nicer than the Acura (purchased a new Honda from you some years back). I only mention all this because I know what to expect from a service department and this process needs improvement. More

Normally the complimentary car wash is offered. Didn't realize until I had left the dealer that the car did not get washed, nor was I offered the wash. Steve was and always has been courtious and friendly. Work was done when he said it would be done. He provided us with shuttle service back and forth while service was being done. I was once recommended a shop to begin taking my car to that offered the same services for less money and came highly recommended. Because of the rapport I feel that I have with Joe, I chose not to pay less and move my business elsewhere. This man deserves a raise!! More
I have been an Acura customer for many years. This is my second Acura, and it is 13 years old, so I MAY be in the market for another one some day. I have had all my service done at the dealership, even tho second Acura, and it is 13 years old, so I MAY be in the market for another one some day. I have had all my service done at the dealership, even though we have had a few disagreements (like when I had to replace the steering column because a small plastic gear broke, and it could have been replaced). Overall, I have been happy with Acura personnel and get along well with all of them, and I feel they are truly committed to giving me good service. More
