We are sorry for the frustration, but unfortunately, our service team cannot find evidence of a leak that would indicate a problem. We know this is very frustrating, but we completed the proper diagnostic tests and they have not shown a leak or a problem that we can fix. I know you could not find a leak, but my complaint is also the smell. I asked why is there a chemical smell and the mechanic shrugged. If you go online you see other Chevy Cruze owners complained of a smell. I see owners posting in online forums that they drove around for a long time with a smell. There is obviously problems with earlier years of the model Cruze. It is apparent with my failed transmission at a little over 40k miles, and Chevy replaced. Now, 3 years later at 55k or 55k mi. my car has a weird chemical smell. This is the truth. I have no reason to lie about the smell coming out of my car.
