I bought this used 2019 Chevy Impala LT in May of 2021 with only 64,667 miles from Car Factory I’m super frustrated & stressed out with this vehicle. I bought this used 2019 Chevy Impala LT in May of 2021 with only 64,667 miles from Car Factory in Davie. In late July of 2021, the car started to give me major issues!! It currently has 67,389 miles on it and I’ve went to only two mechanics ( Chevrolet in Pembroke & a local mechanic recommended by GWC - the extended car warranty that CarFactory gave me) telling me that it has a broken cylinder (no pressure is going into the car), fuel lines & fuel pump went bad, the battery that was originally in the car when I first bought it was the wrong one for the car, starter is potentially bad and it has a broken tire sensor. I’ve called countless times about my car to CarFactory & they tell me to call my extended warranty and see what they can do. GWC (extended warranty) says I have basic coverage & theirs nothing they can do to cover all of my repair costs… I even tried going to Chevy but they quoted me $3000 in repairs after they broke a bolt when one of their technicians was trying to install the fuel pump. So I had to get it out of there. During the duration of when the car was running, I took it to Supreme Tires & Auto Service in Miami, to get a complete oil change recommended by Car Factory. On top of that, the Impala listed price on CarFactory was $13,991. Yet I am upside on my loan so much. My current payoff amount is $26,700.91! The car hasn’t been running for the past 3 1/2 months and I’m super frustrated because I’m paying for a car that I’m not even driving and yet I’ve owned for the past 6 months… I’m unable to get a rental car from my insurance. I don’t have a lot of options at this point…. I don’t believe any 2019 vehicle should give you these type of problems this early! I only driven the car for only 3 MONTHS!! UPDATE: It's now October 24th, 2021. I've been going back and forth with GWC Warranty & JLC Auto Care in regards to the Impala and Victor from JLC Auto Care who has been super honest with me has now informed me that I will need a possible ENGINE SWAP!! They are now going over estimated repair costs and see what they can approve and what I'll have to pay out of pocket. Potentially a lot of money. After only 3 months of commuting my car to work & home, the engine failure is so horrible that it needs another engine! This is my FIRST CAR!! The last time I drove the Impala was in late July. We're a week away from November of 2021 and I had nothing but headaches on top of headaches. I continue to pay Lyft and/or Uber to get to work and I start school in January and that's really going to be a big expense for me once it comes around. You would think that getting a car will lift your most of your problems away but this Impala has nothing but a pain! My entire family is shocked and frustrated that I'm going through this. And I am STILL PAYING MY CAR NOTE! More
