I had asked for a quote online and wanted to go in and check out the car. I walked in and got sat down to basically purchase the car when all I wanted was to test drive it. The overall vibe of the dealership was not inviting. I ended up purchasing the car, but even the finance department was discouraging. I’ve had better experiences elsewhere that were not Toyota. It’s awesome that Toyota sells at least 30 cars a month, but don’t let that get to your heads. For future car purchases I will not be going to Capitol Toyota. More

The wait seemed too long. I had a 0800 appointment for a routine 10,000 (total miles on odometer) service. Everyone was pleasant, courteous, and responsive. Paul was great at answering & getting my questions answered. The routine service consists of oil & filter change; tire rotation; my additional question consisted of whether there were any new software updates, including the navigation chip. As it turned out, my navigation chip was outdated, but the parts department doesn't stock this part and it would cost $300 for the part. A new version was possibly expected by September even though my present chip was dated 5/2016. I say "possibly expected" as the Parts Dept. said update doesn't necessarily come out each year. $300 is just too much for a navigation update chip. I found on Amazon, these chips can be bought for ~$125. The average to low rating overall is this service took until ~1100 to get done and I waited onsite the entire time. The entire dealership is being renovated and perhaps there will be a more comfortable waiting area by the end of 2018, which would have made my 3 hour wait more pleasant. More
