Got me into m Bought a Forester Touring, 2020. Met a discount offered at another dealer, and beat the other dealer's offer on my trade in by $1,000. Got me into my car on the same day I came in. Everyone was friendly and quick. No pressure. I told them what I wanted, what I wanted to pay; they agreed and done. I would definitely go back, even though another Subaru dealer is closer to my home. More

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! DO NOT purchase a vehicle from this dealer!!!!!! They do not keep proper paperwork and if you finance with them they use tactics to confuse what you are paying for. I was charged fraudulently over $1200, convinced to buy a warranty under false pretenses, and sold a service contact that no-one could provide the paperwork for afterwards. I was also not notified when I was purchasing the vehicle that it had been in an accident. After I made the deal with the sales team I called them back notifying them I had discovered that the car was in an accident. They said they would drop the price by $500 but never updated the paperwork. Now 11 months later, multiple phone calls, ignored emails and in person visits, they have finally made good on refunding my money for the fraudulent charges, warranty and service contract but due to poor paperwork still had the old agreed sales price, so now i'm out $500 dollars. I tried to speak with the owner. The finance manager asked her to come speak with me and she told him when she was done. I waited for over 20 mins for her to come in. She avoided coming in and then sent the sales manager to tell me they did all they could do and pretty much accuse me of making things up. They don't value their customers time or their customers period. The owner, Regina, was more concerned about chit chatting with people about their pet adoption event. I really hope there aren't Capitaland customers out there that have had this happened when Ernie was finance manager and just didn't notice. CHECK YOUR PAPERWORK! More

I have personally purchased three Subaru vehicles from this wonderful group and my mother just purchased one as well, after seeing the positive experiences I’ve had. The sales professionals are not pushy, and it’s the only place I’ve been where I actually trust them to get me the best price for my car. They’re not out for themselves, and it’s apparent in the way they speak to each individual person that drives on the lot. Their service and financing groups are equally outstanding, and I often find myself wondering why anyone would go anywhere else? It’s the first place I go when I’m looking to buy/trade/lease and I recommend this place to anyone looking for an efficient, respectful, hassle-free experience!!! More
BUYER BEWARE Lemon alert !!! BUYER BEWARE Lemon alert Recently I purchased a wrx under the stipulation it would be a certified pre owned. Throughout the buying process I am to BUYER BEWARE Lemon alert Recently I purchased a wrx under the stipulation it would be a certified pre owned. Throughout the buying process I am told about 5 times the cpo papers are done just at another persons desk. The runaround continues while I play musical chairs. They finally give them to me as were walking out and I ask again. Me not being an a Subaru employee I'm not familiar the the cpo process and am at the mercy of the dealerships honesty. 3 days after purchase my car is popping out of gear consistently. So I'm reviewing my paperwork to see what could of not been checklisted to determine the problem. I notice many things not checked and I was never given my car fax, a chance to review my checklist with the manager, and my application for coverage. There's no denying this they are facts and i have the proof to validate this. It took a month for them to produce my gold plus warranty and that was only after i had corporate calling them to confirm. Which im not even sure how they processed because the paperwork was never completed. I would go to the finance office and would be told I had a warranty. Then walk across the hall to service where they told me I dont. All the while I'm not under a warranty so they wont do any work. After bringing my car to service about 4 times for this problem they keep telling me nothing's wrong. Even once I had a cel light on. To which they told me there was too many codes to fix, so they just reset my obd codes. At this point i decide to try a new dealership so I bring it to a new place. When the new tech opens the transmission hes startled to find it has cvt fluid in it......I have a flashback of the service girl telling me my car was a cvt. I corrected her as it's clearly a manual. I thought it was a clerical error I had no idea the complications it was causing. This car was never cpo'd correctly which makes me sick. Im no stranger to car purchases and i try to do all my homework and make sure I'm making a smart buy. I thought a cpo would be fool proof. But as i find out those can be faked as well. I never worked on this car and no other dealership had after the purchase. So either the original buyer changed it and my car was never inspected properly or someone there put the wrong fluid in. So here I am just a few months after purchase with not only a car that has been serviced incorrectly but feeling frauded on my cpo. I drove 3500 miles with the wrong transmission fluid in. Which is a fact proven on my last service report. I had reported the problem just days after my purchase. I'm not a mechanic and apart from dumping the fluid in the lot the moment I purchased it I wouldnt know. Soa has been helpful in trying to correct their problems with reimbursement as I've already accrued about 600 dollars in deductibles and now have to shell out 1500 bucks for a new clutch disc. Theres no telling what long term problems have been caused by this. But I could guarantee if I had no warranty and I brought my car to a garage stating I drove that long with the wrong fluid, i'd be hit with a laundry list of problems. They probably have covered themselves with some form of fine print. But if your looking for an honest dealer dont go here. Buying new or used these guys cant be trusted to do the right thing. I planned on buying a crosstrek for my fiance. But rest assured no one I know will ever step foot in that dealership. I look forward to resolution maybe a talk with the owners would get it done quickly and I could alter my review. But I'm definitely not going down without a fight. I will be copy and pasting this review in every social media outlet and review site in just a few days if I get no response. As well as contacting my family attorney. Ive been told I have a case. Although I'd really rather avoid that route as I have several warrantys through the dealership itself and hope for this to be an amicable relationship. More
Rick Napolitano ( salesman at Subaru in Glenville) is a liar This dealership is a joke. With lieing salesman and management. Rick stated “anything worn more than 50% gets replaced, That’s our policy here at Subaru. What a bunch of bull. I even offered to pay for half the costs and all they offered was mounting and balancing of 1 tire out of 4 plus it needed brakes. Pathetic dealership. Chris the service manager said he had to speak with the owner about replacing the worn items, tires were 40,000 tires with 30,000 miles on them. Same with brakes. This was on 4/26/2018. I finally got the answer today 5/8/2018. What a joke. More
Scammed / Incorrect Diagnosis Brought my 2002 Wrx that wouldn't run here to get diagnosed and fixed. was there for about 4 days or so, was told it was the ECU. Had them order and r Brought my 2002 Wrx that wouldn't run here to get diagnosed and fixed. was there for about 4 days or so, was told it was the ECU. Had them order and replace the part for $1,300. After was told that it started but won't run and it needed a new turbo and Mass Airflow Sensor for it to run and that with parts and labor would be over $2,000. I told them no thanks don't buy the parts and take it else where. I had it towed to a small town shop that ended up diagnosing it and install a new mass airflow sensor which cost me $210. I had ordered a new turbo for $270 and come to find out that it was just a clogged front Catalytic Converter. This shop took off the new ECU and put my old one back on to test it and it turned out that it worked just fine and my car was good to go . Didn't need any of the parts the Dealership told me i needed . I then called the dealership to explain the situation and they told me they needed to find my paper work and would call me back and failed to do i went in the next day. Met with the store manager and the tech that worked on my vehicle and was told that they didn't call me back because they couldn't find my paper work and then pretty much got called a lier when explaining the situation, then was told that some "homework" needed to be done and they would call the other shop then get back to me. Missed a call from them today called back and turns out it was a mistake call and they still haven't called the other shop. More
They're great as long as there's no problems We purchased our 2nd new outback from Capitaland because we were satisfied with our first experience. However, the second outback , purchased new in F We purchased our 2nd new outback from Capitaland because we were satisfied with our first experience. However, the second outback , purchased new in February 2016, wore out a set of tires ( under normal use) after only 17,000 miles. We paid full price for a second set , bought it from them, and are having them monitor the tread with every oil change. As was our suspicion, this 2nd set of tires is wearing normal, indicating a bad batch of original tires. But they are doing nothing to defray our expense for the faulty originals. We will be shopping elsewhere when it comes time to trade. More
