I brought my truck in a a gear shifting issue that I already had a diagnoses for (gear 10 ratio). They confirmed the diagnoses and priced out the repair. It was around 8200 which was in line with other already had a diagnoses for (gear 10 ratio). They confirmed the diagnoses and priced out the repair. It was around 8200 which was in line with other quotes said I decided to let capital ford do the work since I had purchased the truck from their dealership. I get my truck back and suddenly I’m leaking oil everywhere ( I wasn’t leaking any oil prior to my visit.) I take it back and they take 0 ownership that they could have potentially done something to cause this rear main seal leak. The rear main seal that is directly between the engine and transmission where the work was done. Now I have a new issue that requires the transmission to come back out and it’s on me to pay out of pocket. This will be last Ford truck for sure and definitely my last time doing business with Capital Ford. More
