I, after over 6 hours of pressure unfortunately traded my 2016 Honda Pilot AWD with 50,000 miles, $800+ tires, remote start a certified pre-owned still under warranty for what they made me think was an bette 2016 Honda Pilot AWD with 50,000 miles, $800+ tires, remote start a certified pre-owned still under warranty for what they made me think was an better trade. Spotless Carfax. The vehicle I traded in for is a 2009, no remote start, not in great shape. I asked if I could have my tires off of my pilot because it took me a long time to pay them off and they're still under warranty in my name, they said no. The dealership was about to close so they hurried me through paperwork that they didn't go over with me. My 5% APR that I had on my pilot for my exceptional credit turned into 12% APR for the older vehicle I traded. After being pressured into this at the end I was disappointed in myself and the dealership. It was a mistake to trade and in the traded vehicle the tires have about 1/4 inch of tread left, the arm rest is collapsed, stereo system is garbage and it looks like the airbag areas were tampered with so I'm not even sure we're safe in this vehicle with over 130,000 miles on it. The two salesman were pushy and didn't explain everything thoroughly, we are stuck with this because of course they marked it "as is" off the lot. Our salesman lied about a few different things, one being that the battery on a hybrid is the same price as any battery and that it would receive another 162 point inspection. I wish I knew more and I wish I had more time without being pushed through paperwork. If I would have heard 12% APR or that I couldn't have my tires I wouldn't have considered this trade. I didn't save a penny by trading in a 7 year older vehicle with $80,000 more miles on it. If not more because everything needs to be replaced. Check out the speakers they left in that were supposed to also be inspected before being sold! I don't think they inspected anything and there was food and dirt everywhere so I know they didn't clean it. Also asked salesman about hybrid and how they worked, how much the batteries are to replace and his response was not too much they're around the same price as any battery., I just looked them up $5,000-$7,000 WHAT? That was a straight up lie. Ugh! 😑 I'm still looking for a better vehicle. They have not been helpful in rectifying this situation. More
