Good evening. I read your review and checked into it with my staff. As I understand it, when you came in for this vehicle's first visit to our service department you requested a technical service bulletin procedure to be performed. The vehicle was out of warranty, so there was a cost quoted and approved. We did not diagnose the vehicle, we simply performed the procedure that you requested. You did not return within the required mileage parameters for us to be able to continue with the oil consumption test that we started. When you returned nearly 6,000 miles later, we had to start a new oil consumption test. As a courtesy, my service manager replaced a PCV valve for you, which has been found in the past to contribute to this type of oiling issue. She replaced it at no charge in the spirit of customer goodwill. I think that was a generous offer on her part, as I fail to see where we owed you anything, and certainly not for a refund on a technical service bulletin procedure that you requested. If you return within the mileage parameters for the oil consumption test, we will be happy to continue with it and see if we can determine a point of failure. Thank you for your business, and the opportunity to express publicly that we were trying to help.

I was told after coming for two oil checks the first time that I was good to go, I even double checked with my service coordinator and she said that I was good and didn’t need to come back. And as of this last time I was never informed that another oil consumption test was needed. It seems that there is a failure in communication whether it is in your part or that I am not asking the right questions.
