Went out if their way to find the exact car i was looking for. Dealers in my home state of NJ couldnt be bothered unless car was on lot. I had a problem with my brand new f-150. I started having issues with the AC two days after I bought it. Here we are almost a month later. Long story short there isn’t a repair for the AC. Doug Barbor the owner of Capital Ford in Wilmington came out to talk to me about the problem. He didn’t feel it was right for me to loose money on a brand new truck. Or make me drive around in a hot truck. He is going to make Ford buy my truck back from me. This is in my humble opinion the RIGHT way to run a business. I’m extremely satisfied with capital ford. Everyone from Doug Watkins who sold me the vehicle to Jeff the service advisor. And especially Mr. Barbor the owner. This is how you run a business. Thank you to the whole capital ford family. This is the fifth F-150 I’ve bought from them. And the very first problem I’ve had with an F-150. I’ve bought in total six vehicles from them. And will be their customer until I die. The car buying process is often a dreaded process. However, at Capital Ford of Wilmington, it was not, especially thanks to Marcus Bradburn, our sales rep and Scott Beasley, our finance guy. We went t However, at Capital Ford of Wilmington, it was not, especially thanks to Marcus Bradburn, our sales rep and Scott Beasley, our finance guy. We went to the dealership on Friday after hours to look at a 2017 Explorer that had just been listed. He happen to be heading out and swung by and told us to be back the next morning and he would help us. We got there at 8:30 and he pulled around the SUV we were interested in. He took our info and handed us the key fob and let us take it for a spin, by ourselves. We drove it for a little over an hour and were impressed. This was the sixth explorer that we looked at or test drove within a week or two and really liked it. When we got back, Marcus thoroughly explained the pricing process and other details about the vehicle. Then we arrived to the most dreaded part of buying a car... Negotiating. After a couple of volleys back and forth, we all came to a price that was fair, below bluebook, and met our needs. He made the process very easy for us. There were not any high pressure sales and Marcus made us feel at ease and gave us our space when needed and quickly responded when asked. Marcus then sent the car to detailing, fueled it up for us and had it ready after we signed all the paperwork. When signing the paperwork, Scott again made us at ease and explained everything. Marcus, Scott, and the rest of the team at Capital Ford made the car buying process easy and non-stressful. I would go back when we are looking in the future. Btw, the explorer has done great and we love it! More
