We visited this dealer on 2/25/2012 after viewing a CPO we were interested in on line. We were greeted by Dave Hoke as soon as we entered the dealership. He was polite, professional and personable. While it was a busy Saturday, he treated us as if we were the only people there. We did not feel rushed for time, he offered us a beverage, he asked/listened to our needs. He took us right to the vehicle we were interested in. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and very excited about the VW brand. The atmosphere in this dealership was very conducive to buying a vehicle. All other employees we came in contact with (Service Advisor, F&I, Cashier) were all friendly and treated us well. We sincerely left there feeling like part of their family. The total experience was enjoyable and refreshing. We highly recommend Dave Hoke and this dealership. More

Don & Capistrano VW were a breath of fresh air to work with after a disastrous visit to a nearby VW dealer in Lake Forest the day before. It was because of Don and Capistrano VW that VW got my busin work with after a disastrous visit to a nearby VW dealer in Lake Forest the day before. It was because of Don and Capistrano VW that VW got my business and I was close to going to look elsewhere because of how 'shifty' other VW dealer was; they marked down the price of the car on-line, stickered it $3,000 more and then tried to convince me it was a bargain for $1,500 more than the on-line price ... totally shady! Don and Capistrano VW, on the other hand, was professional, helpful, informative and most importantly - none pushy. Don was more interested in what I needed that selling me a car, he explained the dealership's approach to pricing and was every bit what I would expect from a dealership of VW name and stature. Kudos to Don and the team there in Capistrano VM and shame on Fladaboe VW; if you are in need of a great new or used VW in the Orange County area - go straight to Capistrano VW to be treated like a customer and not a sucker! I did a ton of research online and finally decided to purchase a VW Routan. Once i decided on the car, it was a no brainer to purchase the car from Capo VW. They had by far and away the most selection of both new and used Routan in So Cal. When I arrived to the dealership my family and i were warmly greeted by Sherie. I was immediately blown away by her knowledge of the Routan. Once my wife test drove the car, it was a done deal...she wanted it. now for the part I usually hate....the painful back and forth between sales person and sales manager. Usually this process involves the sales manager scribbling down on a piece of paper a bunch of numbers that don't make sense. i asked Sherie for a complete breakdown of the price, finance fees, sales tax, plate fee and so on. She gladly went to her sales manager and returned with a very neatly breakdown of all the fees. it allowed me to feel very confident on the entire purchase price of the car. furthermore, with their bottom line pricing on used cars, i knew the price was right (remember when i said i did a TON of research online first). This was by far and away the most pleasant experience i have had buying a car. i would highly recommend both this dealership and more specifically, Sherie, to anyone interested in a new car. More

When I went to Capistrano Volkswagen to look at new cars I had no intention of actually purchasing a car on that day. The sales staff was very helpful, understanding and low pressure. When the time came to purchase a vehicle and we decided to go with the Volkswagen Jetta TDI it was a no-brainer. I knew I would purchase it from Capo VW and when I showed up they were more than happy to go over the numbers and even offer me lunch while I waited. The transition to taking possesion of the vehicle was seemless and the follow-up satisfaction calls were a pleasant surprise. I would recommend this dealership and April Dean as a sales rep to anyone looking to purchase a new vehicle. More
