Great Car-Buying Experience!! Purchased a new 2014 Elantra through the department of Internet Sales. We felt welcomed the second we walked into Gateway Hyundai. The staff was courteous and very enjoyable/fun to work with. Kim and Charlotte presented us with 2 different options, comparing numbers to make sure we were getting the best deal, while taking into consideration certain needs of ours. Jennifer in the Finance department wrapped up the process very fast, as we were in a time crunch because I had to get to work. These women made the buying process so impressively easy. Beyond pleased with our experience and would recommend Gateway Hyundai to anyone looking to buy a car from some great people. More
Replacing the CD player in car. I asked how would they accommodate me for my trouble and taking time off work and he said he will have to call his manager smh. I'm very upset and feel something should be done. More

Perfect Purchase Experience We purchased a 2015 Genesis and a 2014 Tucson Limited on May 16, 2014. Kirk and Kim were an informed, friendly, and professional team. They kept us up We purchased a 2015 Genesis and a 2014 Tucson Limited on May 16, 2014. Kirk and Kim were an informed, friendly, and professional team. They kept us up to date on the Genesis by phone prior to our visit to the dealership, and they were ready to meet with us at our convenience. After test driving the vehicles and taking our time to decide, without extra pressure by the sales associates, it was a clear decision for us. So far, we are delighted with both beautiful vehicles and would recommend the Gateway Hyundai dealership to anyone. Jennifer Ewing is brilliant and knows her job to perfection! She was so helpful with the detail work of purchasing the vehicles and making sure our tags, inspection stickers, etc. were installed. And thank you, Kirk, for remembering to put on the new stickers when I was ready to drive off with the Tucson!!! The two vehicles were detailed with excellence and filled with gas before we drove them home with pride! And a funny thing happened on my way home in the 2014 Tucson. I was able to maneuver the Tucson with ease out of the way of a mother goose and her goslings in the nick of time as they crossed onto the exit ramp! More

I am a straight forward person, but I do try to deliver with a kind tone. I just like to shop on my own. But yes, I am a very frank person and often that doesn’t mix with sales people trying to make a living. Last Sunday I decided to end my history of only buying used cars, it was time to purchase a new car! I stopped by several of the lots at Walthall around 7 PM timeframe and walked and looked with no hassle. I knew what I wanted, a four door gas sipper that looked decent and provided some comfort and reliability. I left this one item out…out a fair price. I had rented a Hyundai Accent to travel to Texas in a month ago and found it quiet, good handling, and yes a gas sipper. I also know a few folks that have purchased Hyundai’s in past few years and were happy with them. I must admit, I have owned Toyotas and a bunch of Honda cars. I am very fond of the 90s Hondas. I like looks and style too. O K, Sunday night I found just about what I was looking for (The 2014 Hyundai Elantra, black w/6 speed manual). I went on Gateway’s internet site Monday morning and looked more and learned more. I submitted an inquiry request, and got an e-mail follow-up response and a call from Kim Garner Monday morning. We agreed to meet there at 11AM. Kim was right on time waiting for me and also had a team member (Kirk Able) already well informed and ready to go out on the lot with me to look over and test drive the car I was interested in. Then we discussed a few more and I test drove one other car, it was the 2014 Hyundai Elantra that I purchased. I wanted to see this new blue color the internet showed, and this car had it. It was a car that had the basics that I wanted (4 doors, gas sipper, looked decent, provided comfort and reliability, and a fair price). I didn’t want automatic because it costs more and I would not have my downshift control. Well, it turns out it did have what I needed. It had the manual shift options that I wanted for down shifting when on the Blue Ridge Parkway (Virginia’s Heaven). I discussed my needs, concerns, questions, and details with Kim and we came to a price agreement. Kim was very respectful by not pushing unwanted things on me because she was smart enough to listen to me and realize that I would walk right out if it got to that type of an exchange. BAM! That was it, a painless process….Kim and Kirk coordinated with all the staff associated to work out the rest of the deal! I’m 50 years old; I have helped my wife buy several new vehicles but never took the step of a new car for myself. Many of the experiences she and I shared at dealers were a less desirable memory. This was my first New Car! Hyundai had want I wanted, and Kim and her staff helped me to celebrate this with a great experience. I drove the car back to my work and got right back to work in the office on that day. I even met Ed Nicol, the General Manger. Joe took the time to listen to what we were looking for and what the purpose of our trip was. He was able to answer questions we had and if he did not know the answer he found it. Joe made sure we were taken care of at every step from looking at all of our options both with the vehicle and during negotiations, to continually bringing us refreshments. Joe certainly went above and beyond our expectations! When we were ready to talk numbers, we worked with Robi Ahluwalia during our negotiations and we felt he gave us the best price possible. Robi was very personable and helpful locating the vehicle we were looking for in the right color and style. During our wait Joe introduced us to the Service Department and Zach Mayhew took time to answer questions we had and explained the service schedule and expectations. When it was time to sign the paperwork we worked with Yvette Crews. Yvette was fun, friendly, and very thorough in explaining the process every step of the way. Any questions we had were answered quickly. The day of delivery of the vehicle we finalized our paperwork with Jennifer Ewing. Jennifer also spent time answering questions and helped the completion of our transaction go smoothly. Yvette and Jennifer created a warm atmosphere by showing positive, enthusiastic attitudes and both were a delight to work with when completing the paperwork in the Finance Department. Everyone we dealt with while at Gateway Hyundai made this journey fun, enjoyable, and easier than we had expected. We are so glad to have joined the family at Gateway Hyundai and can't wait to send our friends and family! More

Joe and Del were amazing. They were attentive and helpful every step Of the way. I would absolutely recommend this dealership to everyone ever. They worked constantly to make sure I had the best deal. If I ever needed another car I would come back in a heart beat. More
