Spent a lot of money, job not complete My car was not starting so I got it towed on a Monday night. I made an appointment at 8:45am in the morning. I am a teacher so I was waiting all day f My car was not starting so I got it towed on a Monday night. I made an appointment at 8:45am in the morning. I am a teacher so I was waiting all day for the call about what was wrong. I never received one. So I called at the end of the school day. Remy, who was providing the service told me he forgot about my car because the tow truck parked in a weird place. It was frustrating that I would have to pay for another day of Ubers to get to work, but it was a mistake and fine. Then the next day he called to let me know what was wrong. And a list of other things I might want to fix. I let him know that I would like everything fixed and that I would also like the hood checked out (doesn't close all the way) and my oil changed he said ok. Then following day (day 3 no car) Remy let me know the car was done and I told him what time I was arriving. He said it would be done. I got there and the car wasn't done, which I understand, but again more time. He handed me the bill, we went over it. There was no oil change. He told me he forgot to tell the mechanic. Again, pretty frustrated, but I understood. I got into my car and drove off. When I got home I realized the hood wasn't fixed! I called him again and he said 'he didn't remember that part'. I told him word for word the convo we had. He said oh yes I remember. He apologized. At this point, I became very frustrated and let him know how I felt. Honestly, I was pretty angry which I don't like to be. It wasn't until I yelled that then Remy offered a free oil change the next time I came in. It is upsetting to me that I had to yell to get a real apology. My car was completely forgotten and the two things I asked to fix were not. I now have to take another day to get the hood and oil changed. I am pleased he has offered a free oil change, but a little upset it took yelling to get any kind of response. I love my subaru. My sister has one. I tell everyone how great it is. I am just a little upset at this situation. More

Unexpected visit I made a stop on my way to the French Quarter Festival and came out to a car that would not start. I called roadside assistance and got a jump within I made a stop on my way to the French Quarter Festival and came out to a car that would not start. I called roadside assistance and got a jump within about 20 minutes. I drove to the dealership to get the car checked since I didn't want to get stranded in festival territory. They checked out my car and got me back on my way after about an hour or so! I was very appreciative and got to enjoy my afternoon in spite of my plans being unexpectedly altered. Thanks! More

If you have the time I took my Forester in for its first maintenance service. I made an appointment for 1:00pm for an oil change and tier rotation, The Service advisor was I took my Forester in for its first maintenance service. I made an appointment for 1:00pm for an oil change and tier rotation, The Service advisor was working alone and there were two others before me. He was friendly and worked quickly to get everyone checked in which took about 15-20 minutes. I did ask how long he thought and he explained it could be 45 mins or it could be an hour and a half, just depended on how backed up they were. I did not understand the purpose of making an appointment if there was still going to be a significant wait. There are multiple companies that have built entire business models on the fact this kind of service can be done in minutes, not hours. In total, the experience lasted just over 2 hours. For me, it is not worth the "free" oil change when I have to take a nearly 3 hour long break from work. I literally could have paid a place and came out ahead for the time and money I lost at work. Perhaps that's the gimmick though, make it not worth the customers time so they aren't inclined to take advantage of the "free" first years maintenance. I was hoping this experience would be a redeeming factor since my overall buying experience was so unpleasant, but I do not think I will be returning for service and I would not recommend anyone purchase a car form this dealership. I do love my Subaru but this dealership has been disappointing on all accounts. More
