I brought my 2014 Kia Forte here over the July 4th weekend due to my car suddenly would shake while stopped at a light and wouldn’t accelerate well. I had it towed in to their service department because I had work done back in Dec 2019 there as it had been making a knocking noise and was told it needed a brand new engine at 84k miles. I wasn’t sure if it had to do with that so I took it back. I was told it didn’t but they thought it was the spark plugs that needed to be changed. I had them do it only to then be told it hadn’t fixed the issue and would need a new fuel injector. So I paid for all of that and drove the car another two months. I recently traded it in at a completely different dealership and was informed that the fuel injector had a hole in it. This employee has no reason whatsoever to lie, his only job is to fix cars. I specifically asked how this could happen. The service manager said the only way that would happen is the fault of who put it in. I am writing this to hopefully help someone else from having to deal with this kind of headache. I certainly learned a lesson here to get a second opinion and will do so in the future. The other lesson learned is I will never use this service department again. They have since replied and have stated they can’t find my name in their system. I attached a picture of my receipt on Facebook and will do so here if able. More

I made an inquiry online that I was interested in a Kia Seltos and the 0% interest deal that was advertised on the radio. I asked Stephanie Stiner through email if the Seltos qualified for that deal. She said yes and scheduled a time for me come into the dealership. I got to the dealership and dealt with Joe Mayes. Again I mentioned that I was interested in the Seltos and specified that I was there for the 0% interest deal. After the test drive Joe showed me a paper listing my monthly rate. It fit my monthly budget but the paperwork didn't list the total cost of the car or the amount of my trade in. He had to continually go "to the back" to see what these values were. He finally gave me the total and not only was the cost $2,000 more than the MSRP listed on the website but it also included a $2,500 "package". I asked about the "package" and it was things like window tinting, car wash, etc. All the things that are listed in the "Why you should buy from Boomer Kia" section of the website. We negotiated the price down and inclusion of the package. I get to the finance department with Hunter Long. I get to the final page of paperwork that has a breakdown of the costs and the math doesn't add up. Hunter said there was a $150 "typo" and the Gap insurance/powertrain amounts were significantly higher than discussed. Also, the paperwork did not have 0% interest. I questioned Hunter and he said that there was no 0% interest offer for the Seltos. Stephanie and Joe both lied to me and wasted 2 hours of my life. I wouldn't trust anyone at this dealership and I don't recommend it to anyone. More
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD This is the first review I've ever left but felt it was necessary. I purchased my 2020 Telluride from Boomer Kia via phone as I live four hours from OKC. I had a newborn and we were planning on being in OKC that weekend so I asked if we could pick it up then. They told me they only hold vehicles up to 48 hours so I'd need to get it before then and after I asked if they would deliver it to me in Hooker, OK, they offered to meet me half-way the following day. I told the sales woman that my son had his one week check-up so it'd have to be early. We agreed on 10:00 am. My baby and I arrived in Woodward, OK at 9:30 and received the first (of many) phone calls from the sales woman. She said she was running behind with paperwork but would be leaving soon. She still had a two-hour drive so I immediately had to call and cancel my son's appt. It was mid-July and hot so I took my son to Wal-Mart to walk around while waiting. The next call I received was an hour later. She had some questions for finalizing paperwork. I'm more frustrated. A few minutes later, I receive another call saying they were doing an inspection and noticed paint scratched off the front of the Telluride where it must have bumped the truck. She said they were fixing it quickly and she'd be on her way. At this point, I'm extremely frustrated and wanting to cancel the purchase. I remained patient. She then calls 30 mins later saying they cannot fix it because it would need to cure over-night so she will bring a $500 check so I can take it to get fixed. I argued this and told them I would like for it to be fixed beforehand because I didn't know when I'd have the time to be without a vehicle while it was being fixed. (I have three children and we live in the middle of nowhere.) She persisted on with bringing the check and told me she was about to leave. 45 mins later, I receive a call from her asking some questions to again "finalize everything" and she said she is about to leave. My newborn and I waited in Woodward in 100 degree weather for 6 hours. I had to make arrangements for someone else to pick up my school-aged children. She shows up WITHOUT the $500 check but says they will mail it. (She also didn't give me a 30-day tag which I didn't realize for several days that I was driving with no tags.) Extremely frustrated, I sign the paperwork, we swap keys and I head home. Weeks pass and I have not received a check. I texted her and she says they will get it mailed. A month or so later, I call to talk to someone else about it and they tell me they cannot mail me a check to fix the issue because that's not something they do and say they would have to pay the body shop directly. Fast-forward several months and I make the time to get a quote which came to $744 and make arrangements to drop it off and be without a vehicle for two days. I called Boomer Kia to let them know and James Wade, the GM, within seconds, tells me they are not going to cover it. Without asking any questions, he said no they would not be covering it and was EXTREMELY RUDE. I began voicing my frustrations to him and he isn't backing down. He accuses me of lying about not receiving the check and trying to "double-dip," accused me of lying about asking for the check and them telling me "it's not something they do," then he accuses me of "probably putting more scratches on it myself." I've never felt so frustrated and appalled as I do at this point. All I've wanted is for them to fix the scratches on my new vehicle they sold me. I wanted them to make it right and I had explained my situation to them up-front in the very beginning. I was more than fair and patient with them after being lied to so many times. James eventually offered to send me the $500 check. I refused the check at this point and said they need to pay the total. After not convincing him that it's what should be done on their end, I asked to speak to someone higher-up. He said he's the highest it goes. He said he would look in my file for notes and call me back. I immediately went to the website and emailed the owner, Aaron Leger, who was pleasant and willing to resolve the issue by paying to have the scratches repaired. It felt like such a relief to finally see the light at the end of this tunnel. I will never forget this awful experience and I would not recommend this dealership due to some of the people employed there and the awful customer service I experience throughout this process. After speaking with Aaron, I received an apology email from James Wade. I appreciated the apology but James mentioned how he deals with customers trying to get more than negotiated and how he hoped I could see where he was coming from. I disagree that dealing with difficult customers justifies that you treat an honest (and patient) customer so poorly, given you don't know the facts. Assuming and treating everyone like they are trying to screw a business for personal gain or whatever reason, is a poor way to run a business. James said he realized my problem wasn't with him personally, but it in fact, is. I also would like to note that if you get an email from James Wade, saying it's the owner Aaron, as I did once, I would go to their website to directly email Aaron at his email address instead. More

They never told m They screwed my credit score and then when I supposedly got an email from the Owner/GM Aaron Leger, it was actually from James Wade. They never told me nor did I give them authorization to run my credit with 9 different places. I would authorize at least one and if you can't get someone to approve me, then your obligation as a respectful company was to come back to me and let me know what happened and do I give them authorization to run it again. Then when you wanted me to give you $3000 I said no I didn't have that and I could possible do $1500 and then again I was in my mind saying why the xxxx should I have to give you $1500 down. I have never had to pay $1500 down for a car and the car I had was in good standing for the almost 2 years(up o Dec 31, 2019) and I had another car with that lot prior for a year with good standings. I have never been late nor was a reason that you should ever in god creation run someone's credit like that. It did dawn on me when the manager came over all quick and was like hey don't go to another car lot to get a car you'll have to come back here. I didn't realize you ran my stuff so much until I went home and I get notifications from Credit Karma and 9 different hits had hit my account. Then when I try to get it straighten out with an explanation. I have been hearing nothing but crickets. They have been giving me the run around and I am tired of this. If I was to go to another car lot of get a loan, I would be turned down because you screwed me and now will not answer calls or emails. I shouldn't have to drive to your establishment to get this resolved because if you were such a good company like you say, then you would fix this issue and make it right. You would instead rather me go viral and post on every place I can and I am so trying to not get a lawyer involved. Your company was not as honest as you make it seem and then you mess people's credit up and will go on with your lives like you just didn't make me go through hoops to get it resolved. I should of stayed with my car lot because at least they are honest and did matter in fact asked me could they run it for this second company and they did and I got approved. I am not sure what the deal it because my credit score has went up tremendously since I went through the car store for my first car. You guys left a bad taste in my mouth and I am not going to stop until I get justice for your scamming ways that you did on the sly. Who tells someone not to go to no one else and come back there, but knowingly knew you didn't have authorization what so ever to run my credit with 9 different places. I have attached proof to show you and even in the 2 emails I sent were not answered. SCAMMERS AT IT FINEST BOOMER KIA IS HERE TO WRECK YOUR SCORE. BUYERS BEWARE OF HOW MUCH THEY HIT YOUR CREDIT WITH FINANCE PLACES TO GET YOU TO STAY WITH THEM AND GET A CAR BECAUSE NO OTHER PLACE WILL ACCEPT THAT MANY HITS. More

I gave them the required paperwork and was told by the finance guy 4-6 weeks ok. Something to me to call and inquire about it and super smart Rachel says 8-12 weeks because the warranty people has to release the the remaining amount back to them (which is a lie). I called my warranty people and the kind CS woman was like they tell us to cancel the contract but we NEVER get the money till u actually use it. Oops caught Rachel in a lie!! So Rachel calls back asking about my lien release for my trade🤦🏾???🤦🏾??? Silly broad whomever pays the car off gets that and I provided a letter saying that the car was paid off.. I’ve requested that her boss called me and no one has.. people don’t buy no extended warranty for a new car these folks will lie to get you to buy it but when it’s time to give it back they try to steal it More

After spending 9 hours and 6 other dealerships I came here and from now they will be the first. Nolan was the salesperson I worked with and he was amazing. Before looking at my car they tried to sell me some fuel cleaning crap like a normal salesmen but I declined they did the recall on my car first to see if it fixed the issue which it did about 75% of the problem. They told me it was still running sluggish and suggested I pay for the fuel cleaning but couldn’t tell me if that would fix the issue so I declined unless it would fix it I wanted to hold off. Well since I didn’t buy anything they couldn’t seem to figure out what was wrong with my car after having it maybe 4 hours. I took it and had the fuel cleaning done and didn’t fix the issue of course. Turns out it was a bad part that they had been messing with the whole time but yet they didn’t know what was wrong with it!?!? So like I said they are clueless or just wasn’t going to help me fix my car (with warranty) unless I paid for something out of pocket for their commission! Sending a certified letter to Corp about this ordeal so hopefully they will stop ripping people off and/or get mechanics that know something about cars! More
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. I spent the last three days arguing and going back and forth with them. The salesmen were hor ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. I spent the last three days arguing and going back and forth with them. The salesmen were horrible. They were rude and extremely unfriendly. Day 1 I talked to Obi. He didn’t talk to me, he didn’t ask what kind of car I was looking for or what I needed in a car. He stayed pretty silent the whole time. Was not friendly at all and I felt very uncomfortable. After 5 hours at the dealership I was told I was approved and needed to bring in pay stubs. I came back the next morning with pay stubs from both of my jobs. The guy waiting outside took my papers and sat me down. He said it’d be about 30 minutes for them to verify everything. That’s fine I can wait. The whole time I was waiting the staff was at the front of the store eating snowcones and getting Billy Sims signature. I didn’t even get the guys name! Another salesmen came by to check on me and find out where mine went. My guy finally came back and said you can go ahead and go and we’ll call you when we know something. If I got approved the day before what was the issue? ANOTHER 4 HOURS LATER I get a call saying I was approved and needed to come in to fill out paperwork. I made the trip back up there and was greeted by a new salesman. I told him this was my third trip up there and he asked who I was working with. I told him Obi and then another guy took my paperwork this morning but I didn’t know his name. All of a sudden the salesman from the morning, Kory, came and wanted to help me. The two salesmen argues over who would help me. Kory told me I would need more money down than the guy from day 1. I told him the guy from the day before said I’d be fine... his response? “Yeah well he quit, he just didn’t show up for work today and we don’t know what happened.” At this point I was extremely annoyed with the whole situation and told him I’d go elsewhere. I left. As soon as I drove off the lot he was calling me and texting me saying he got it straightened out and he’s ready to “do the deal”. At this point I wasn’t sure if I should go back or not so I said I could be in the next morning to give myself time to cool down. Day 3. I went in this morning, Kory is there we get started on some paperwork and then he comes out and says you’re approved but we need you to prove you make more money than you actually do. He goes to “get the rest of the paperwork” and OBI, the one who quit the day before, comes out and tells me that if I didn’t like it I can just go through my credit union. Also while we’re on the topic of banks I received 12 emails from credit karma saying someone has checked my credit. Day 2 I woke up to an email saying my credit score has dropped due to the amount of times they ran my credit. Now I’m completely screwed anywhere else I go because my credit has been ran through the wringer. I was so unhappy with the entire experience it made me want to stop looking at new cars completely. One thing I know for sure is that I will never use Boomer Kia nor will I ever recommend them to anyone I know unless you want to get screwed over. At least the sketchy car lots on 29th have friendly salesmen. I posted this review on Facebook and was told the GM would be in contact with me that day. I still haven’t heard anything. I am tired of the lies and run around. It is absolutely ridiculous for a car dealership to treat customers like that. I am extremely unhappy with the way things turned out and I feel other people need a warning before going to Boomer Kia. More
