I've been a client of this company for more than 5 years. I brought my cars for service /repairs. I liked the way the personnel handled their clients. the service is fast and efficient. The reason for my mixed review: So far, I was happy with their maintenance services, mainly because of Greg and his very helpful, upbeat and honest approach to customer service. I had a very unpleasant inte their maintenance services, mainly because of Greg and his very helpful, upbeat and honest approach to customer service. I had a very unpleasant interaction last time with their sales department (if you're considering buying a car from them, look elsewhere, they will rip you off, but that story would take too long here). This most recent time, another rep (Ara) "helped" me with the maintenance appointment. When I brought the car in, he was tight-lipped, only mumbled something about expired Toyota Care, and the car only needing tire rotation. He told me that the car should be ready in 1 to 1.5 hours. After that, zip. I received no updates, heard nothing. 5 hours later, since I had no number to contact and check on status, I just went to the dealership. Ara checked, the car was ready, but he tried to sell me a cabin air filter replacement. I declined (they charge $55 - of which $20 for the filter - , it's a 2 minute job you can do yourself very easily). No apologies, no word on what was performed or what the next service will look like. This really makes me reconsider if I shouldn't just go to an independent place for future needs. Why should I pay $40 for tire rotation and get such below-average treatment ? I used to like Bob Smith and wanted to support a local family-owned place. More
I have a mixed review. I like their services but I don't like how rude the lady was when you pay for the job. They are a bit expensive but they do seem to repair your vehicle. I just really dislike the lady at the desk when you pay. She should be nicer. She has a bit of an attitude. The guys who checked in your car were polite as well as the guy who fetches your car after you have paid. I just don't like the lady at the payment desk and her attitude. I think they need to get a new employee at the payment desk. More
1) long, expensive, and useless testing. whole day 510$ 2) WRONG DIAGNOSE. Bob Smith Toyota told me to replace harness. I refused, and went to independent, non toyota repair shop. After 1 whole day 510$ 2) WRONG DIAGNOSE. Bob Smith Toyota told me to replace harness. I refused, and went to independent, non toyota repair shop. After 1(!) hour of testing (including wiring test) ECM replacement was recommended. for 800$ (work+part). It worked, check engine codes were fixed!!! Two months now, all is fine. 3) RIDICULOUS pricing. BST asked 4000$ for harness replacement. Independent shops will do it for 1200-1500$. As i said before, this diagnose was wrong.
