Great Experience and Customer Service I am in the customer relations/service sector and can have some pretty high expectations when it comes to customer service elsewhere. I was definitely not disappointed and greatly impressed with my experience with Cory Chapman and Bob Rohrman Hyundai-Lafayette. I entered into the car shopping process and thought I had found the car I wanted at another dealership.That car didn't work out and I found myself back at square one having no clue where to begin looking for another car. I had some specific parameters so it added to the challenge. I walked in cold to Bob Rohrman Hyundai and was linked up to Cory Chapman via their sales manager. He was friendly right from the start. He listened to what I wanted both in features and budget and went to work talking me through all the vehicles that fit that criteria. I test drove a couple of different vehicles and landed on the perfect car for me. I went in for one thing and came out with something so much better! I can't begin to express my gratitude for Cory's patience and willingness to listen to what I wanted. He took the time to explain features and differences in vehicles to me. At no time during the shopping or purchasing process did I feel pressured or that I wasn't being treated well. With the deal, it required me to return the following day to finish the purchase and Cory was very responsive in keeping me in the loop with how things were going for me to come back. He made sure everything was lined up and ready to go so when I returned I wasn't sitting around waiting for paperwork and final inspections to be completed. I was also very appreciative that during the trade-in appraisal, it was discovered that my trade-in had a mechanical issue that they didn't feel safe having me drive it home. Since I wasn't able to drive home my new car that night, they set up with a very nice (new) car for the night. They certainly didn't have to do that but I was so impressed with that service. Also along the safety theme, I chose to wear a mask during my time at the dealership due to the COVID-19 guidelines. Cory made sure to wear a mask as well to make me feel more comfortable. I appreciated that a lot. Bad news for Cory is that he set up me with a fabulous car that I intend to drive for quite awhile so he won't be getting any sales from me for awhile! However, I completely intend to tell friends and family about my experience with Cory and the dealership and recommend for them to get in touch with Cory if they are shopping for a new vehicle. My experience start to finish on this purchase was top notch. I look forward to continuing my relationship with Cory and the dealership as I will be taking my car there for any service work. First impressions are important. If this first experience is any indication as to what the future experiences will be, I believe I have a comfortable, friendly relationship. More

Shuttle Service very disappointing On Friday July 3, 2020 I brought my 2014 Hyundai Santa Fee in for an oil change and two other problems. I stayed in the service area waiting room and On Friday July 3, 2020 I brought my 2014 Hyundai Santa Fee in for an oil change and two other problems. I stayed in the service area waiting room and was treated well at the dealership. But once I was told it would be a couple of hours I opted to get shuttled to the Tippecanoe Mall. I am not from Lafayette, I bring my car from about 45 min. away to have it serviced and I am out of warranty, I always appreciated the service. I know with all of the Covid issues that there are several procedures that are not back in place, but as a long standing customer I not treated the way I have always been at Bob Rohrman. I was dropped off at the mall and found out that only one store was even open. I then walked around and figured that there was no where else to go and it was very hot out. I called and was told someone was on the way. I waited an hour and 45 min. And I called a total of 3 times to finally get someone who actually came. Again I realize that there are extenuating circumstances in the times we are in, but I felt I was really put out. When I returned they gave me a car to drive and when I came back to see if the diagnosis on my car was done I was told to keep the car for the weekend. Which I did but I had to have them put gas in it, there was not enough to even get me home and back to Lafayette. They didn't have an answer on my car until after 3 on Monday. I needed to know if I was coming back to Lafayette on Monday and get there before they closed. And again I had to call to get this answer. They told me what it would cost to fix and my husband and I decided that we could live without the blind spot detection that was broken as it was very expensive to fix. I had to wait another day to pick up my car. On Tuesday I got a text that said it would be ready by noon. I came after work and picked up my car. They did give me my oil change for free (after I asked that they compensate me in some way). I will come back and I will recommend the service dept. But again, I did not feel valued as a loyal customer. Thank you for letting me get out my frustrations. Mary Cochran More
Service was timely. No issues. I do think they should had gone over the tests they ran on my vehicle and explained them to me. I don’t know what 45% on my tires means in everyday terms or 12 volts on my batt gone over the tests they ran on my vehicle and explained them to me. Poor quality vehicle service, low quality management, and atrocious customer service. I won't be back here again, you can bet on that.
