Got the job done but their 1 hour estimate for a simple oil change (with an appointment and an otherwise empty waiting room) ended up taking 90 minutes. They did not clear the "scheduled maintenance required" light, so we had to get the manual out and do it ourselves. Penkhus Mazda at Powers was dismissive and didn't care about our time. Even though we told the service manager we would wait for our vehicle, we were not informed when service was complete. Another customer came in after us and a service tech updated her several times in the waiting room. When we finally noticed our vehicle back in the "receiving bay", we went out to pick it up. The men there, appearing to have nothing else to do, ignored us while we waited at their stands. They did not wear masks as we picked up our car while waiting even longer for paperwork to appear. I had to argue before our service manager would accept our prepaid maintenance contract bought at another (out if town) dealer - a contract supposedly honored at any Mazda dealer. I regret buying the prepaid maintenance plan. Teenagers at Walmart Automotive Service Center did a faster, better, more customer-oriented routine oil change than this dealer's shop. More
