It was time for me to buy a new pickup and I believe in shopping locally. I stopped in at Bill Mcbride's, met Jeff Plunkett from their sales team. He treated my wife and I respectful and fairly. He listened to our concerns and ended up selling us our new Silverado. Thanks Jeff and his sales team for receiving another good buying experience. More

They promised they would be able to "beat it", well they did not beat they were more and when I called them on it they claimed the other deal did not include sales tax and theres did. I explained I needed to inquire with them, and they did not like that Sales Manager was rude when he tried to stop me from leaving. I know of two car deals this week they lost do to pure dishonesty. He and his team were wonderful in helping me during a dire situation - especially after finding out the 10,000 miles "new" engine I had bought actually had 100,000 miles (supplier mistake, not Bill McBride's). He took responsibility for the error, worked with the supplier, re-hauled the engine so that the timing chain I initially needed changed on my 175,000-mile Traverse would not need to be changed in a quick 75,000 miles. He was reachable in the evening and weekends, took the time to drive my car to ensure all the problems were worked out so I could pass state inspection and even cleaned it inside and out. More importantly, he lent me a car during this ordeal - which lasted 5 weeks! This alone saved me approximately $1,000 in rental car fees. I am impressed by the level of customer service and courtesy Casey offered and I would not hesitate to refer him to anyone in need of service for their Chevrolet product. More

I take full responsibility for my bad credit rating but have been turning that around and have a good, but not high paying, State Job. Since I was in a total desperate situation, I had no options. Eric Lundstedt greeted me at the door and did, by all accounts, appeared to genuinely want to help me and get me a vehicle that day. For people like me in this situation, McBride's uses a shady company known as Credit Acceptance. Eric was "shadowed" by a fast talking financial manager by the name of Artie with a very thick Boston accent. Since I was desperate, and didn't have a lot of money to put down they got me an old 2003 dodge caravan that had 175,000 miles and told me I that the warranty was part of the deal. I should have stopped right there but I needed a car to get to work, etc. The warranty is an equally shady company known as Superior Protection Plan under the Southwest re umbrella. The warranty is for two years and was an additional 2030.00$ Since I had the van, not surprisingly because of the mileage and age, it has had many problems from the beginning. Two days after I got the vehicle, I realized the brakes were bad and brought it in to the service department. They got a rental for the the three days they had the van which was paid for. However, the brakes were never fixed, and I had to bring it in again. After waiting all day, I was told I bought the van "as is" and that's my responsibility now. I got the brakes fixed elsewhere and paid out of pocket. Then the transmission acted up and I brought it in again and the service department told me the warranty doesn't cover it so I had to pay out of pocket. Fast forward to this week, the engine has a bad bearing which means the engine needs to be replaced. I had to have it towed to a service station near me. The crappy warranty claims to cover lubricated parts but tells me I have to have the station take out the lubricated part and wait for representative to come out, which could take days or weeks. I kept the maintenance up on this car too. I am now stranded and can't get to work. Judging by what I have researched about the warranty company, they will do everything to deny my claim, though that is still pending. I'm now in a worse situation than when I started and feel I have been completely duped by the staff at Bill McBride's Chevrolet. I'm also still making payments on a vehicle that I can't drive and may cost me 1500-2000$...which is almost the cost of the van. I called Eric yesterday and explained the situation but was told it was a "catch 22"...which is polite way of saying "We can't help you nor will we try." I will NEVER do business there again and I will tell everybody I know to avoid Bill McBrides. Also, I was only shown the first page of the warranty contract which I stupidly signed. I finally got the full contract by emailing the company. If I can find a way to prove warranty fraud, which I think this very well maybe, I will take action. More

We went in to look for a new (to us) car and we were helped by the One Exception, Tyler. Tyler was wonderful, if a bit shy. Tyler tried his best to find us a car we would be able to work with. He let us test drive The Perfect Car but as it turned out the bank wouldn't finance it due to high mileage. We were bummed but we were willing to keep trying. For over a week, we would go in and see if they had any cars that would work. We were told some new ones were coming in over the weekend so we waited a few days then went in again. We were told that the car we were approved for still wasn't ready to be test-driven as each car needs to be inspected beforehand. While I respect that fact, we were told it would be ready for us and it wasn't. A couple times we went in, Tyler wasn't available and we ended up talking to two other people who should never, ever be in sales. They were jerks about our financial situation and were amazed that we couldn't come up with a sizable down payment. Excuse me, but that's pretty much why we were shopping at a "Valu-mart". Please, never, ever shop with McBride. Go to the much nicer dealership over on Tom Miller Rd., they'll bend over backwards to help you there. More
