Financial dept POOR customer service I took my friend there who's older and wanted some assistance with purchasing a car, so I'm writing on her behalf. The salesperson tiffany was amazing, the car is nice, but that's where the good part ends. After she agreed on a price, she went alone to the dealership to pick it up and sign papers. She agreed to an extended warranty and GAP insurance. When she got home and wanted to see the terms of her warranty, she first page of the agreement was missing. After looking at it all, i noticed page 1 of several groups of documents was missing. She decided to cancel the GAP and warranty, so we called and told them. We went back 3 days later and the financial person (nick Carter) would not recontract. He said she could get reimbursed but it would come off the end of the loan and her payments would not be lower. After speaking to another Nissan dealership, I found out that this was not the norm. Also, when asked about page 1 of the warranty which showed the years/mileage terms, Mr Carter stated it was not their policy to give customers a copy of the first page. This is the page where you actually sign for the terms, and she was refused a copy. We emailed the manager and she didnt even receive a call from him. Needless to say this is a poor way to do business and we will not be returning to that dealership. It's a shame the financial dept can ruin it for the sales dept, but we will be going to another Nissan dealer next time. More
General Manager I purchased a Nissan Rogue which I am happy with, however, I turned in a leased vehicle in March 2016 when I made my purchase. The dealership didn't ground the car until July when I received bills for the car and I realized that it was still at the dealership. I went in and the General Manager told me that this wasn't his problem it was mine. He said it wasn't his responsibility to do this. Nissan tells me otherwise. I now have this on my credit report which Nissan is trying to help me get taken care of. I have bought 6 Nissans at Moses in Huntington and 1 at Bill Cole. I will go back to Moses from now on. More
Bad first impression One of the maint. managers when my car was brought into the shop reported that I needed new cv joints and new brakes/rotor or drums on my car. Did not ask if or when I had last had them looked at. Just said they were very bad. Sad thing was those items had all been replaced less than two months before. I knew there was a noise and knew what the cause was. So first impression was not good. I got the impression that all he wanted to do was perform a service that was not needed. The only good thing was that the replacement of the air bag on the vehicle did not take as long as anticipated. I was not shown the defective part so will have to assume it was replaced. (Air Bag Recall) More
