Upon arrival at the lot I met with James and he was quite helpful. I'm a bit of a particular person but he took the time to explain anything I asked and wasn't pushy, which has always been my fear when it comes to car salesmen. When it came time to close, the price was very fair and again, they didn't try to push on extras that I didn't want or need (ie extended warranty, etc). Overall, a great car buying experience More

ROBBED ME, MY CAR WAS NEVER THE SAME! I've dealt with only West Herr Ford service centers in the past & I was hesitant to go & try Basil's Service Center but when your alternator dies in t I've dealt with only West Herr Ford service centers in the past & I was hesitant to go & try Basil's Service Center but when your alternator dies in the middle of winter when the high for the week has been 10 & the guys at Advanced Auto Parts charges your battery enough for a half hour drive, what are you going to do? Basil Ford's Service Center was the closest place I knew that could get the car back to me in a day or so (I use it for work). Walk in & the gentleman who took care of me was courteous enough when I walked in. Told him the info & went from there. The shuttle van took me home (10 minute drive) & I waited for a call back in the time he said he'd call back. An hour after the time he estimated, he told me the cost with labor of the alternator. I was in a rock & a hard spot - it needed to get done. The time between the call back & when I picked it up was OK (4 hours). The price was ridiculous for what was done. Right away they mentioned multiple other things that needed to get done (2 out of the 4 were needed, including breaks - more on that later) with jacked up prices to boot. Here's where the fun begins.....my car has been great. Love the car, reliable, never anything seriously wrong other than tie rods & brake pads. Never had any emergency/warning lights pop up on the dash EVER!. 20 minutes after I left, the brake lights went on. I called them the next day & I had to coax the guy on the phone (same guy who took care of me the previous day) into giving me a general Idea of what to look at instead of telling me "Well, I said your breaks were low, heh heh." Took his advice of adding break fluid & the light went away. A week later, & ever since., I've had more times than not the check engine light or the air bag warning light go on randomly on the dashboard. 9 years & never had any issues with any of these things. 2 hours after I leave & stuff is lighting up like a house on Christmas in Sloan. Never again will I deal with Basil Ford or any off their dealerships again. More

This is the 7th car I have now owned , I did buy two of my cars from basil on Sheridan. This was my first experience at basil on walden . I have never in my life been so disappointed , everything was terri my cars from basil on Sheridan. This was my first experience at basil on walden . Not only did they proceed with a deal they didn't even fully have in the bag , they didn't really even think they were wrong or did anything wrong . I do have a new car that I leased that I could careless about and just counting down the time to be done with it . It was dirty when I got it was not at all detailed . Over all bad experience with the people , service , how everything was handled , just terrible . Giving one star in each category is waaaaaaaaay to much More
