My Mercury rental car's trunk latch failed. The 1-800 number at Hertz was of no help. I stopped by Baldo Ford (across from the motel I was staying at) as I could not drive the vehicle with the trunk lid number at Hertz was of no help. Service Advisor Dennis Hillard and his crew quickly diagnosed the problem, fixed the latch and had me on my way in 10 minutes. The fix was easy for them and they did not charge me for their time. The Service Department was wonderful. I called on a Monday and my truck had a service appointment on Tuesday. Frank explained what was wrong with the truck and how they were going to fix it. I went in to Steve Baldo Ford on a Thursday evening to look for a new car for myself with my sister, who had already leased 3 vehicles from the dealership. Jason was supposed to be leaving for the day bu look for a new car for myself with my sister, who had already leased 3 vehicles from the dealership. I ended up leasing a new 2012 Fusion that evening and picked up my vehicle the next day.
