Our car broke down on the freeway near BMW of Sherman Oaks. We had the car towed to them to assess for repairs. A few days later, we picked up our car and a few miles into driving home to the west side, the car failed again. We barely got home, and the car was not drivable. We paid BMW of Sherman Oaks almost $1600 to repair a car that was not drivable and 5 miles after picking it up, the car was not drivable. We had the car assessed by a nearby repair business, and they stated in their paperwork that the car was either never fixed, faulty parts were used, or the repair was not complete. We never heard back from BMW of Sherman Oaks when we contacted them after we received this information. After I completed a yelp review of our horrible experience, I was given the name of a manager to contact In explaining to him the situation, he told me that the expectation was that we continuously have the car towed to them until they get it right. We are senior citizens, and we do not live near the valley. And even if we weren’t, it makes no sense to have to continually bring a car back until it’s fixed. I noticed on another reviews that people did this and every time they brought the car back, they were up sold more and more repairs. We are disputing the charge with our credit card company and if that doesn’t work, we will take further action. It’s very basic. We brought in a car that was not drivable and after paying $1600, we were given our car that still was not drivable. Do not utilize this dealership for any reason. They refuse to take responsibility for their severe repair errors. More
