I dropped my car off at the dealer for my 10am appointment on Saturday, 3/15 because my check engine light was on, but as of that morning it had gone off. I checked the gas cap a few times during appointment on Saturday, 3/15 because my check engine light was on, but as of that morning it had gone off. I checked the gas cap a few times during the week and even got gas twice and the light was still on and it never went off. I had not heard an update from anyone and it was 12:45 so I called. The person I spoke to was Matt and he said they JUST hooked my car up to the scanner and would be calling shortly with an update I said great and went on with my day. By 3 I still had not heard any update so I called again and had to leave a message. Matt called back and told me that they scanned my car and it was a loose gas cap or possible leak detected which was causing the check engine light to come on. Either way, nothing was wrong. I find it absolutely ridiculous that I had to call twice in a 5 hour span to get an update on my car when nothing was even wrong. I feel like I was taken advantage of a little bit because I dropped my car off. I feel if I had been waiting there it would've been a quick service call and I would've been in and out. I lease my car from Anderson and I have only had it in there twice for service since 2011 when I got my car for this exact reason. The service just takes way too long. More
