I love this dealership but I just don't love the delayed response to my messages or questions. I am happy with my new (certified used) BMW but I am still waiting for other work to be done on it and I left m response to my messages or questions. Before my last experience I would have rated this dealership-10. From the woman answering the phone to the unbelievably horrible customer service in the service department it was all horrible. Then a service light came on and life circumstances forced me to return. Boy what a blessing that turned out to be! I ended up working with Chris from the service department. I can honestly say that he is by far the best customer service rep I have ever worked with, not just at this dealership, literally anywhere. He alone is the reason my rating went from a score so low it wasn’t even offered on your rating scale to what it is now. Your entire dealership could learn a lot about outstanding customer service from this man. More

BMW Encinitas has friendly and helpful sales and service staff. I shopped at a different BMW dealer and the staff was horrible. Since I'm a car enthusiast, over the last 26 years, I've purchased many vehicles from a variety of dealers and have owned multiple brands (Porsche, Ferrari, Audi, Lexus, BMW, Ford, Mercedes and Toyota) from purchased many vehicles from a variety of dealers and have owned multiple brands (Porsche, Ferrari, Audi, Lexus, BMW, Ford, Mercedes and Toyota) from multiple states (NY, FL, CA, MI, OK, TX, CT). I typically have a banker and run my deals through them for financing and for some reason this time around I picked BMW Financial Services and my GOD the finance department took me for a spin. I purchased a $135k msrp'd M5 and it has been 13 months and I still do not have a Texas registration in place. I've been driving w/ expired California temporary tags since February. I've emailed and attempted to call literally every sales manager, sales team member, finance manager and finance team members multiple times for resolution with 0 success. Everyone is always out of office or busy w/ their in person clientele. Now, I plan to make a special trip to the dealership in person to HANDLE the matter and express my sincerest distaste of treatment in driving this item to resolution. The car is absolutely amazing, but if you are an OUT OF STATE buyer - I'd recommend flying in person to tackle the financing or bring your own bank to the table. It is just absolutely absurd the ridiculousness of how MULTIPLE team members dropped the ball on this. Then the absolute absence of email response. I've never in my life experienced this kind of behavior and treatment. I'm looking forward to the in person visit the week of Thanksgiving where I'm spending $5k out of pocket to tackle this issue. Luckily San Diego is a frequent place that I travel to unwind. More
