Went here for my first service appointment. The overall service was poor and did not compare well to other non-luxury brands. Intake and pickup were really slow and the service advisor did not help me troubleshoot the initial issue, basically telling me to call BMW over the phone and ask them instead — Additionally you had to hunt for the service advisor and the rest of the staff weren't helpful in helping you intake or retrieve the car. I do not recommend this service center at this time - The issue has not been resolved and wasted at least two hours during intake and retrieval. More
I live in FL. I purchased a car 10+ days ago (7/30/20223) from this dealership. The car was transported to me from California to Florida on 8/5/23. Today I still have no way to drive the car because my paperwork was never sent to Prestige DMV yet. So I have car sitting at my house that is useless with NO REGISTRATION. The whole experiencer has been a disaster at best. I really wish I bought a different car that was available in TX. No one at this dealership has taken reins to make this situation right. These guys should not be selling cars on the internet as they logistically are not set up to do right by the customer. I'm giving this one more day and then I'm shipping the car back to them and retaining an attorney. The communication from this sales person, 3rd party DMV company, and everyone else I've had to deal with had been subpar. At this point I have asked for the manufacturers statement of origin or the certificate of origin overnighted to FL. Tax Collector and that I would take care of this myself, no response.... I have bought 4-mercedes, 2-Bmw, 1-Lamborghini, 1-Porsche, and 1- Bentley in the past 3 years in my name and my company's name and I have never had an experience like this before. I brought my car to get the windshield replaced and I got a call 4 hours later that they didn’t have the windshield. Why would they schedule me without having the part? Then I was told that the part will tak a call 4 hours later that they didn’t have the windshield. Why would they schedule me without having the part? Then I was told that the part will take a month to get in. So, 4weeks later I called and asked if the part was in and the parts person told me it had come in a week ago. No one called me. Also In between that time about 3 weeks in, I called and left a message and no return phone call. Made an appointment and brought my car in. Get a call to tell me that the work is done, but while putting air in my tires they scraped my rim. They fixed it and it looks great. But, that was a bummer. When I went to pickup my car I noticed on the rim they fixed the stem cap was missing. So I asked them if that could put on. One of the service men came out and twisted one off of a rental car and put it on my car. It didn’t match!! I said nothing. At that point I felt like I would be making a big deal out of something small. There was little attention to detail and the customer service as far as communication was lacking. I was disappointed. This is my first luxury car and I was really thinking that it was all about the experience. I do know that they were in transition from Vista to Carlsbad, but really should not change customer service. More
Bought my car through Vista but the car I guess came from Carlsbad. Rubin was very good in sales. The closer in doc signing was not the best. Unclear on interest rates lease and sales. A bit threatening with all the closing extras saying the BMW WOULD NOT TOLERATE one Nick or scratch in the car with a lease return and would penalize me heavily if I did not have his extra insurance policy.
